Its blurb is below. One day, Yi Mingxuan receives a call from an unknown number. The person on the other end says excitedly, "Officer Yi, thank you for saving me ten years ago!" Yi Mingxuan thinks, Is this guy crazy? I wasn't even a cop ten years ago. He is just about to hang up. "My name is Sheng Chenjie. I'm a police officer now, too!" Yi Mingxuan feels as if he's been struck by lightning. "What did you say your name was?" "Sheng Chenjie." Yi Mingxuan looks at the corpse in front of him. "You said your name was Sheng Chenjie, so who's the person lying on the coroner's autopsy table?" Sheng Chenjie pauses. "Captain Yi, are you sure you haven't got the wrong person?" Yi Mingxuan loses patience. "Who are you? Don't call me with stupid jokes like this." "Captain Yi, I'm really not lying. I'm Sheng Chenjie, a criminal police officer. My badge number is XXXXXX." Yi Mingxuan hangs up, but for some reason the whole thing feels suspicious. He checks the badge number the caller gave him, but it doesn't exist. He can't find the phone number either. Yi Mingxuan sneers. "As I thought, a scammer." But this scammer is terrifying. How did he know Yi Mingxuan blames himself for not saving Sheng Chenjie in time? Sheng Chenjie wakes up and plans to look up the cases Yi Mingxuan worked on in the police intranet. Yi Mingxuan is practically his idol. But the first result he finds says Yi Mingxuan died ten years ago while saving him. His captain walks by and pats him on the shoulder, speaking earnestly. "Xiao Sheng, you need to fulfill Officer Yi's last wish and become a good cop." Sheng Chenjie: "?" How could Yi Mingxuan be dead? Did he call a ghost last night? As soon as the thought crosses his mind, he slaps himself hard across the face, startling his captain. "What are you doing, kid?" Sheng Chenjie feels as if the world has gone completely surreal. He calls Yi Mingxuan back, but the number is no longer in service. That day, he asks his captain for the address of Yi Mingxuan's grave and finds the tombstone. In the photo, Yi Mingxuan is in the prime of his life... Sheng Chenjie: What the hell? Am I crazy, or is the world crazy? That night, he receives a call from the dead Yi Mingxuan. "Do me a favor. Since you say you're Sheng Chenjie from ten years in the future, find out who killed the victim in the May 17 highway body-dumping case." Sheng Chenjie: "?"
