Why Is My Older Stepbrother Dazai Like That?

With a stepfather and adoptive mother who married for mutual gain and are never home, and a twisted stepbrother who hits on her every chance he gets and has no sense of decency, Saeko feels she’s put far too much into keeping this loose-knit Port Mafia family together. Including, but not limited to: Secretly working for her scumbag stepfather behind her adoptive mother’s back, being forced to help her stepbrother torment honest people, and kicking lunchboxes meant for a hardworking underling and his brood of kids right into the gutter, among other things. “Saeko, you forgot the most important thing! Our exciting and sweet, Mmph, mmph!” I clamped a hand over the mouth of Osamu Dazai, my former stepbrother and current boyfriend, who was shamelessly pushing his luck with filthy talk even in a wholesome setting. “...Just shut up.” *First-person angst, with youthful heartache and a second chance at love. It will have a happy ending. *Inspired by a trope that Love frequently posted about as early as 2020. *My take on Bungo Stray Dogs and Dazai. The opening is a massive minefield, and there are tons of headcanons. To each their own. Theme: Let’s keep living, in love.
