Is It Easy Being a Beta Diplomat in the Insectoid World?

[I've temporarily run out of inspiration for this story. It feels too tame. I'll work on another one first, then come back to this one later, probably around September?]

[To everyone who saved this story, I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!]

[If you'd like to read my other story, check out "Mafia Rookie Hitman's Handbook".]

Me, a Beta, pretending to be one.

That's not the point.

I'm a diplomat in the insect race, and today is my first day on the job.

All I can say about my coworkers on this alien planet is: I don't understand. I'm utterly shocked! Ahem, of course, I'm a discreet gentlemanly Beta. Don't expect to see the mad scrolling commentary in my head on my face! Smile. Give them your most proper smile, Aaron.

These spoiled, delicate little male insects, with their tiny bodies and huge energy. What other rich-lady pleasure-ball games am I missing out on?

And these female insects! I really thought you were strong-willed elite warriors. You've betrayed my trust!

So... is this a clueless, grumpy young lady and her puppies? No matter, please begin your performance. I'll bring out my very best professional conduct and be a diligent, friendly, excellent diplomat.

After all, I represent the will and glory of the ABO Federation!
