HP Fan Translation: The Darkness Within

Original work by Kurinoone/fanfiction, probably one of the most famous classics in the Harry Potter fandom. When I first came across it, I was still in middle school. Now I have a job. Back then, my English was so terrible that I could only wait for a translation. I couldn't bear to wait and tried reading the original, but I always got stuck on the first chapter and was utterly despairing.

Now I'm so busy with work that I don't have the energy to properly write my previous novel. Work and preparing for graduate school both require a lot of English, and although my English is much better than it used to be, it still has a long way to go. So I've picked up all the fanfiction reading plans I never finished back then. I originally translated this just for my own amusement, but posting it here will also keep me motivated to continue reading. After I finish this one, I'll try some others.

I'm a liberal arts student. To preserve the reading experience in Chinese, I won't match every word and sentence exactly, but I'll do my best to convey the overall meaning.

The Chinese and English versions are posted side by side, so if you have suggestions for better translations, please leave them in the comments. (If anything is inappropriate, please leave a polite and civil comment. I'll take reasonable suggestions on board.)
