Name: Yayoi Nogami
Gender: Female
Affiliation: Special Division for Unusual Powers
Ability: Fate (Active)
According to records from the Special Division for Unusual Powers, Yayoi Nogami's ability lets her actively observe all the causal threads that exist in the world. Her ability first awakened when she was fifteen. Unable to control it freely, she suffered an information overload that made normal life impossible for a time. She was later discovered by the "legendary ability user" Soseki Natsume and brought into the Special Division for Unusual Powers. After training, she successfully learned to switch her ability on and off, and passed the test to become a trainee investigator for the division.
Her previous record was unremarkable. They say she was a loner throughout middle school. Whenever her classmates were asked about her, they all responded, "I think there was someone like that, wasn't there?"
In truth, everything recorded here has another story behind it.
According to a special guest???, the reason "Yayoi Nogami" was born into this world was to tear up the script (struck through) and save the world.
Not long after officially joining the Special Division for Unusual Powers, Ms. Nogami received an order from her superior to serve as the long-term contact for a certain senior agent working undercover. And so, happily carrying her beloved cat, she stepped into the fascinating new world of Yokohama.
???: This world is so beautiful and fascinating... don't you think?
Osamu Dazai: Hearing that from you is truly hard to imagine, miss.
???: This world may be false, perhaps only a fleeting shadow, but within it, every "person" is real.
???: People with their own agendas, rushing about the world and struggling to survive. Could anything be more real, or more fascinating?
Osamu Dazai: ...
A crossover centered on the BEAST storyline of Bungo Stray Dogs. The heroine's pairing is Dazai, the one who wrote the entire BEAST script by hand.
A duo of "non-humans" in two different senses of the word.
Other possible settings include Detective Conan, Magic Kaito, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, and Gintama. The crossover format varies.
P.S. Yayoi Nogami's name comes from Yayoi Nogami, a modern Japanese woman writer and Soseki Natsume's only female disciple. The name Haruko Ota (the book) comes from Haruko Ota, the daughter of Osamu Dazai and a Japanese woman writer. The two have "almost nothing in common apart from their names," so please don't draw too many comparisons with real life.
