Teacher Lin's Secret Lover

Blurb

Lin Zhengmo has always kept work and her personal life separate.

At school, her students describe her as meticulous, reserved, gentle, and the best teacher in the world.

But after work, the seemingly proper Teacher Lin turns into a whiny little thing.

Every day, she opens the chat with her online girlfriend and sends a message: "Waaah, work was so exhausting today."

Her girlfriend always knows how to comfort her gently: "Hugs. I ordered you takeout, bought you a foot-soaking tub, and..."

Her girlfriend is wonderful in every way. The only problem is that she refuses to meet in person, and Lin Zhengmo is truly troubled by it.

One day, at the teachers' weekly meeting, grade-level director Jian Yue is fiddling with a PowerPoint at the podium. Lin Zhengmo is a little afraid of her. The woman is cold and merciless, never pulls her punches when telling people off, and always acts like she's above everyone else.

Lin Zhengmo secretly messages her online girlfriend:

[She's running the meeting again today.]

[Just as mean as ever.]

[I think her eyes could kill.]

The next second, a WeChat notification pops up in the bottom-right corner of the PowerPoint. Just as Jian Yue clicks to exit, Lin Zhengmo catches a glimpse of her own profile picture.

Lin Zhengmo: ?????

I must be seeing things!!

At last, one day, her online girlfriend, who has always refused to meet, sends her a message:

[Want to meet? I'm ready.]

Lin Zhengmo replies excitedly: [Sure! Where should we meet?]

Her online girlfriend: [After evening study. Wait for me at the school gate.]

Lin Zhengmo: [Okay, baby~]

That night, Lin Zhengmo goes to the school gate.

Her online girlfriend is nowhere to be seen. Half an hour later, everyone else has left, and Lin Zhengmo realizes Jian Yue is standing beside her.

Lin Zhengmo flees in terror.

After that, Lin Zhengmo deletes her friend and blocks her outright. Whenever she sees Jian Yue, she runs if she can.

But one day, Jian Yue summons her to the office. Before Lin Zhengmo can even say a word, Jian Yue closes in on her.

"Director Jian..."

"Don't call me Director. Show me the same confidence you have when you call me 'baby' online."
