Xu Yousi discovered that the owner's lock screen was actually a picture of her. What was going on? Which creep was this?
It was a solo crop from a group photo of her high school graduating class.
She posted a lost-and-found notice in the company group chat. After a long wait with no one claiming it, just before the end of the workday, that woman finally arrived at a leisurely pace.
Her boss, Yu Ci, was mature and reserved, detached and free of worldly desires. She was ruthless, spoke little, and always seemed to carry an air of cool indifference.
The moment she came closer, Xu Yousi tensed up and leaned back slightly, unable to make sense of it.
"He... hello?"
Yu Ci picked up the phone from the desk. "Thank you."
Xu Yousi: ??????
Xu Yousi: I can't take this anymore!!

The new friend request said: Thanks. Can I treat you to a meal?
At the restaurant, it was hard to reconcile the serious woman before her with the phone's owner, and Xu Yousi kept wondering if she'd seen things wrong.
But their eyes met by chance, and there was an unspoken hint of something simmering beneath the surface.
Later, one night, everything was confirmed.
Drunk, Yu Ci climbed into Xu Yousi's bed, her warm breath brushing against her:
"You saw my lock screen?"
"Absolutely not, not even for 0.0 seconds!"
"Keep pretending."
"How can you like me!"
"Well, aren't you in trouble?"

On a workday, just as Xu Yousi was getting ready to take an afternoon nap, a notification suddenly sounded on her phone.
Yu Ci:
[Come upstairs.]
Xu Yousi:
[I wouldn't dare.]
