Synopsis:

Something major has happened in Miaojiang: Wu Ruo, the tribe's Saintess, is about to enter a bond with her Dao companion.

Her Dao companion is a woman Wu Ruo found beneath a cliff. The woman was barely alive, and Wu Ruo saved her. In time, they fell in love, and now they are finally holding their bonding ceremony.

The wedding is solemn and sacred, and the Miao people have decorated the whole village with lanterns and festive colors. No one sees Wu Ruo's lips turn pale as she quietly swallows the thick, fresh blood in her throat.

Only Wu Ruo knows that the other woman doesn't love her.

Her Dao companion's love is built on the love curse Wu Ruo placed on her.

Only later does Wu Ruo learn that the woman she rescued is Luo Qingyi, the strongest cultivator of the Zhiyuan Immortal Sect and the master of Luoxue Peak. For a thousand years, she has been the only person to attain the Way of Ruthlessness.

Luo Qingyi returns to her sect, but is condemned by thousands because of her relationship with Wu Ruo. Miaojiang has always been mysterious and unwelcome in the cultivation world, and Wu Ruo is the sole stain on Luo Qingyi's otherwise flawless life.

Wu Ruo watches Luo Qingyi's former fellow disciples trample on her dignity. Her once-limitless cultivation is stripped away. The sect leader takes away her position as peak master and demotes her to a servant who sweeps the grounds, leaving her with nothing.

"I don't care." When Wu Ruo embraces Luo Qingyi in tears, the once-cool and aloof Sword Venerable gently puts an arm around her back. Her face, cold to everyone else, softens with tenderness. "As long as you're with me, that's enough."

"All right. We'll be together forever," Wu Ruo says.

She foolishly believes they can go on living like this until the Great Way begins to crumble and the laws of the world collapse. In their moment of crisis, the sect's spirit chooses Luo Qingyi, making her the cultivation world's only hope for salvation.

And on that day, Wu Ruo makes a decision.

She smashes the porcelain bottle she has always kept close at hand. The hair-thin curse worms crawl onto Luo Qingyi, and the love curse that has bound her for ten years is finally lifted.

Luo Qingyi's gaze turns icy. Her cultivation in the Way of Ruthlessness returns, and she quickly regains her former strength.

Wu Ruo takes Luo Qingyi's sword through the heart, looks deeply at her one last time, then quietly leaves, never to cross paths with her again.

Now Luo Qingyi will no longer have Wu Ruo as a stain on her life.

As for the consequences of lifting the curse... Let her hate Wu Ruo.

1. My own take on cultivation. All the Miaojiang curse lore is made up. Little focus on leveling up, lots of romance.

2. The entire main cast is female.

3. I'll update according to the rankings when I'm on them; otherwise, daily updates.

1. This is very melodramatic and cliche. The main story is written in third person.

2. The female Alpha has no special powers or cheat abilities.

3. The younger sister isn't on her sister's household register, so this isn't incest.

Theme: A healthy relationship is built on sincerity, not deliberate deception. Both partners grow together and become better people.
