After everything outside descended into chaos, Dazai and his fellow inmates decided to break out today.
But to Dazai's surprise, the people who came to rescue him were five Odas!
Oda Number One was Mr. Oda, a member of the Armed Detective Agency: "After the Dazai in my world died, I learned the truth. I was rejected by this world and sent here to maintain the stability of my own."
Oda Number Two was the superhero Oda Sakunosuke: "Oh, Dazai, what happened to you in this world?"
Oda Number Three was Teacher Oda from Yokohama Literary Academy: "Dazai, someone asked me to come to this prison to rescue you. They said you'd been skipping class."
Oda Number Four was the young assassin Sakunosuke, preparing to leave the business: "Oh, so my grown-up self really did quit? It's incredible that I actually followed through, even though I'd only just started thinking about it."
Oda Number Five was Oda Sakunosuke, who became a half-spirit after death because he was worried about his friend: "Ah, a prison... Dazai, let's just get out first, okay?"
A dazed Osamu Dazai: Sure, no problem. Oda is right.
