The Scheming Ex-Girlfriend

In her first month after transferring to the branch office, Meng Lingxin is told to secure a business partnership with a top actress as soon as possible.

The actress made her debut young, won the Golden Rooster Award at twenty-five, and went on to a brilliant career, becoming hugely famous. As Meng Lingxin turns through the actress's thick resume page by page, she can't find a single flaw.

Except...

"Miss Meng has such a lovely name." Sheng Ying pinches the thin business card in her hand and gives her a feigned smile. "Funny coincidence. It's exactly the same as my first girlfriend's name."

Blurb 2.

The last time Meng Lingxin saw Sheng Ying, she slapped her hard and said they were breaking up.

When they meet again, the screen favorite who once drew everyone's attention has long since shed her youthful awkwardness. She's become mature, elegant, captivating, and dazzling. Yet when Meng Lingxin coldly tells her, "Please show some respect," Sheng Ying still pushes her luck and closes in step by step.

"What then? Are you going to slap me again?" Sheng Ying curls her red lips, her gaze deepening.

She can't show restraint. Not even a little.

Sheng Ying has always been a natural on camera. Back then, when she showed Meng Lingxin her test papers and the questions she'd gotten wrong, and Meng Lingxin teased her, "How do you not know this, too?" she pretended to be obedient and sweet. "I just don't know. Will you teach me?"

Now, when Meng Lingxin gets annoyed and mocks her for having filmed so many kissing scenes without improving her technique at all, she shamelessly clings to her. "I just don't know. Then teach me."
