My Ex-Husband Came Back to Find Me After Losing His Memory

Update schedule*

A short story that quickly explains the circumstances and reaches its conclusion.

Chi Zongqi married Nie Yinian in place of his younger male cousin. As an AO couple with an 83% compatibility rate, Chi Zongqi felt like a failure: he couldn't keep his husband, or his husband's heart.

Fed up with the same routine day after day, year after year, Chi Zongqi finally worked up the nerve to ask for a divorce, and Nie Yinian agreed.

He had just gotten his hands on a generous fortune and hadn't even had the chance to enjoy his new life when his ex-husband's chief assistant showed up at his door.

"Mr. Chi, you have to help us with this."

Chi Zongqi looked at his husband, who had lost his memory, and thought of the pregnancy test results tucked away in the living room cabinet. He could only conclude that he'd lost his mind.

Nothing could be more suffocating than this ridiculous chain of events.

"Honey, I want you."

Chi Zongqi endured the alpha nuzzling his neck like a huge dog. At those words, he silently took the other's hand and pressed it against his already-swollen belly, then asked solemnly, "Do you know what this is?"

"?"

"It's the consequence of what you did when you didn't love me."

Young people, don't speak too soon. The consequences will catch up with you later.
