When Feng Yu woke up, his head hurt so badly he grimaced. After someone found him covered in blood, he learned that he had transmigrated and gained a fiance.

Feng's father dabbed at the corner of his eye, wiping away tears that weren't there. "Xiaoyu, you hit your head, so you've forgotten. You and Young Master Chi Yinglan are in love, and the wedding is tomorrow!"

A moment later, Chi Yinglan gave a soft laugh and drawled, "The world's top doctors have all treated me, and every one of them was stumped. You probably don't even have a medical license, do you? And yet you dare claim you can cure my legs with a 100% success rate?"

"Do you know what happened to the last con artist?"

Feng Yu thought to himself, Your leg problem isn't even scientific. Your meridians are blocked. All you need is one Meridian-Unblocking Pill from a cultivation world, and you'll be on your feet in no time.

Besides, the points needed to redeem a Meridian-Unblocking Pill were low, so Feng Yu could easily afford it.

People were looking for him everywhere. He needed to find somewhere safe and discreet as soon as possible. Was it really too much to ask for some protection in return for healing both of the man's legs?

[The starting world could be ancient, modern, or futuristic; it doesn't seem to make much difference. I'm still working on the outline, and the setting may be adjusted to fit the story later, so keep that in mind when you bookmark it.]
