An Ambitious Beta's Life as a Lackey at Military Academy

How many Alphas and Omegas can there be in an ABO world, and how many Betas? When Alphas and Omegas are dealing with heat, what are Betas doing? The answer is that Betas make up the majority. Betas are just doing their regular jobs. So why isn't there a single Beta in a high-ranking position in the entire empire? Ji Qing couldn't understand it, and he wasn't willing to accept it. He didn't care how many privileges the world gave Alphas and Omegas. He just wanted to use whatever means necessary to climb to the top. Ji Qing's family ranked among the lowest of the upper nobility. Attaching himself to the powerful seemed like the easiest way to climb the ladder. Outside school, Ji Qing used his own abilities to get in front of the Regent and become a trusted pawn. At school, he also made sure to act as a lackey for Lancer, the Regent's son and a top Alpha who shared his dorm. He fetched meals, fought, and helped him pick up Omegas. Ji Qing was nearly at Lancer's beck and call, until Lancer set his sights on Ji Qing's cute little Omega brother. "Not him. Pick someone else." Lancer gave him a wicked smile. "Then I'll pick you. You're not an Omega, but you look like him." To keep the relationship he'd spent three years building from going up in smoke, Ji Xiao gritted his teeth and agreed. That switch lasted ten years. From a student of a declining noble family to the most powerful Beta general in the entire empire. After the award ceremony, Ji Qing pulled up the pants someone had forcibly dragged down and calmly lit a cigarette. "Let's stop here." "I'm not done yet. Why stop?" the other man snarled. "Whatever my father can give you, I can give you too." Also known as "My Boss's Son Won't Stop Pestering Me," "I'll Do You for Your Father's Sake," and "He Thinks I'm His Father's Lover" 1.
