The O-Pretending-to-Be-an-A Alpha General Is Always on the Scene [Book Transmigration]

[Coming Soon] Cheng Lang works for the high-powered division of the transmigration-into-a-book bureau. His defining trait is professionalism (and an icy lack of interest in romance). He can toss the bottom into any story full of familiar tropes without batting an eye. But you can’t keep walking by the river without getting your shoes wet. By chance, he was locked inside an adults-only ABO novel, where he became the famously cold general. Fortunately, he wasn’t the protagonist. He was just... a bystander. He always managed to show up right at the scene of a familiar trope, whether outside a door, by a window, or in a bathroom stall. He was the person they meant when they said, “There’s someone outside!” Cheng Lang: “It’s no big deal.” It was just the difference between watching from behind a screen and watching in person. Except... After the novel’s plot began, someone smashed open the supposedly soundproof, shockproof, super-grade bathroom door, and an out-of-control Alpha pinned him against the wall. Cheng Lang recognized him. He was the novel’s top, the one the bottom protagonist couldn’t handle: the Empire’s Crown Prince, Tan Xingshuo, warm on the outside but cold within. Why? Why wasn’t the out-of-control Alpha looking for an Omega in heat in one of the stalls? Why kick down his door? But Cheng Lang had still underestimated his usefulness as a plot device. To make it reasonable for an imperial general to be lurking outside the Omega restroom, it turned out he really was an Omega disguised as an Alpha... Author, come out here. We need to... talk about life. Later, He became the Crown Prince’s teacher. It was as if he were marked with a tracking device: people kept dragging him out of the background. With old wounds still healing and new ones added to his neck, Cheng Lang couldn’t help telling the passersby who were determined to bring back the adult plotlines: Stop drugging him. Just come after me instead! The young Crown Prince lifted his long silver hair, a teasing smile at the corner of his mouth. “Teacher Cheng, you have a thing for that?” Later still, The Crown Prince developed a tolerance to the drugs. Cheng Lang thought it could finally be over, but once again, someone pinned him down. “Teacher, I’m addicted.” [Cold, stoic, straight-laced general teacher bottom x outwardly warm, inwardly cold, paranoid, scheming Crown Prince student top] “I thought there was no one by my side.” “Turns out you were always there.” Theme: Stay true to yourself, no matter how your surroundings change.
