What Could a Female Insect Possibly Do Wrong? [Insectoid]

Bei Chen transmigrated to another world, where he met an adorable green-eyed fellow. The two of them were trapped in a forest, waiting to be rescued. The little cutie had been poisoned, and his vision was blurry. Thinking of the brief flash of mental power he'd just sensed, he cautiously asked Bei Chen, "Are... are you an alpha?" An alpha? What was that? It was an unfamiliar word. As a human, Bei Chen naturally shook his head and denied it. "No." They supported each other as they survived in the dangerous forest. Just before rescue arrived, they were attacked by a starbeast. Bei Chen was badly injured and fell into a coma. He slept for five years, and only after waking did he learn that the place he'd transmigrated to was called Insect Star, and that he had somehow become an alpha here. Since he was already here, he might as well make the best of it. Life had to go on. They met again six years after parting. The little cutie was just as adorable as ever, but something seemed... a little off. Six years ago, Shi Yi was an ordinary private in the Insect Star Federation. While accompanying his unit to clear starbeasts from the White Calamity Forest, he accidentally got separated and stranded there. Because of the poison, everything he saw was blurry. That's when he met a female insect named Bei Chen. They supported each other as they survived in the dangerous forest. Bei Chen shielded him from danger, treated his wounds, gave him candy, and even made him a lucky star... Aside from his female parent, no one had ever treated him so well. And so he thought: Perhaps a female insect's innate longing for alphas and mental power could be overcome... If he were with Bei Chen... But when rescue arrived, they were attacked by starbeasts. Bei Chen was seriously injured and fell unconscious. At that moment, the Bei Chen he'd always believed was a female insect like him displayed the mental power unique to alphas. So Bei Chen was an alpha. Six years later, he met Bei Chen again. All these years, he'd worked tirelessly to climb the ranks and gain a higher position, fighting constantly on the front lines and earning merit, all for this day. He was jealous, domineering, possessive, and dark-hearted. He wasn't a proper female insect, so what? This alpha named Bei Chen was his, and could only ever be his! Transmigrated seme X ruthless, scheming, teasing, devoted puppy-like uke The insect race setting is based on information I found online, with some details of my own added. Insect society is distorted and twisted. Feel free to criticize the characters' values, but don't criticize the author. (smile.jpg) This novel will be published on December 28, 2021.
