A Belated Heartbeat

As a leader in technology research and development, Lu Yao had done everything he could to bring cutting-edge products to market. Almost obsessively, he wanted to create something even more advanced. In a moment of heated enthusiasm, he chose to experiment on himself using a machine that wasn't up to standard...

"Qi Yanmian, I'm Lu Yao at seventeen. You... hello."

Only later did Qi Yanmian learn that every seemingly accidental encounter and stroke of good luck had been carefully planned by someone who had fallen for him long ago.
