The Dolphin Belonging Only to the Stars

On Ji Haituo's eleventh birthday, Fan Mei brought home a child. "Xiao Tuo, starting today, our family has another member. His name is Xingxing."

The "little brother" called Xingxing had his left eye covered by a white bandage. His other eye was round and large, but lifeless. With bruises on his face, he looked frightening.

Ji Haituo didn't like him, but he wouldn't interfere with Fan Mei's decision. And so a ghostlike child appeared in the mansion. From what Ji Haituo could tell, Xingxing liked nothing but hiding in his room, like a dim star in the night sky that only loved the dark.

Ji Haituo assumed the little ghost would always fear and avoid him. He never expected the little monster to unleash a terrifyingly adorable side that caught him completely off guard...

Sun Yanxing believed that his birth was a tragedy. He had brought trouble to his mother and was impossible to love. Being beaten every few days had become his entire life. But one day, an aunt named Fan Mei took his hand and led him into a warm, spacious house...

There was cake, hot food, and a dolphin big brother who could play the piano...

It was as if the goddess of fate had granted him a little blessing, letting him find warm embraces and love...

But an accident brought all those beautiful things to an end... He became a dim star again, traveling alone through the night.

"Life has always been hell..."

On his twenty-fourth birthday, Sun Yanxing gave himself a present...

"Sun Yanxing... Is anything else bothering you?"

Hearing the unfamiliar greeting, he gave a bitter laugh. With the IV still in his arm, he raised his hand and pinched the doctor's face, crying out,

"Brother... You're so cruel. Why do you have to show up in my hallucinations even here...?"

Zhao was so shocked he didn't know how to react. The emergency doctor making rounds was stunned too. Was someone really causing trouble at a hospital so brazenly? But the normally polite, considerate doctor abandoned his usual gentleness, sternly removing Sun Yanxing's hand.

"You're getting bolder and bolder."

The story will mainly follow the older brother's perspective when they're young, then the younger brother's perspective as adults. A pair of "stars."

Older man, seven-year age gap.
