After the Golden Python Married into a Wealthy Family

In this society where humans and demons coexist, demons are required to have a human guardian.

Bai Susu is a helpless, hefty, and food-loving golden python. She moves into the home of the match assigned to her by the System to build a relationship with him.

The demons outside say humans all like animal forms that are soft and fluffy.

After her animal form gets rejected several times, Bai Susu can only buy fur shed during molting season from foxes and cats, then diligently pretends to be a cat every day.

She has to leave the fur "accidentally" somewhere for her guardian to find, while keeping it away from his teacups and dishes, suits and coats.

What bad intentions could a snake possibly have? She just envies the gentle humans who scoop cat litter, that's all. QAQ

Xu Xuan is a well-known bachelor in high society.

He's known for having money, having a lot going on, and being notoriously finicky.

Under pressure from his mother, he's forced to accept a match arranged by the special department. Still, the woman seems nice enough, and if they can each get what they need and live in peace, he can make it work.

In particular, he's very pleased to hear that her animal form is soft and fluffy and doesn't shed everywhere. Xu Xuan loves fur but is also a neat freak.

Until one day, Xu Xuan finds a giant python in his bed.

As thick as a bowl, and longer than he is when lying stretched out.

Oh, and it has stolen his blanket, too.

Just before passing out, Xu Xuan vaguely thinks he sees his long-deceased great-grandmother.

If you find the python you're keeping has crawled into your bed, don't overthink it. She just wants to get warm.

But if you find the python in your bed stretched straight out beside you, it's reasonable to suspect she's trying to see if she can swallow you whole. :)
