But before he can finish, a paper ball flies in from behind and bounces twice on Lu Zuan's desk.

Inside is the solution to a math problem. Lu Zuan is stunned and turns around, but Jiang Baiyu's seat is already empty.

The cool, aloof boy has draped his school uniform over his shoulder and left through the back door.

“Jiang Baiyu's smart and has an attitude. I just like asking him.”

Lu Zuan looks away with a smile and smoothly changes the subject.

When no one is looking, he smooths the paper out and slips it into his book.

And when no one is looking, he's been in love with Jiang Baiyu for years.
