How a Despairing Remnant Became Hope

[Main story complete; bonus chapters will be posted from time to time] Shirakawa Raiha attends the best school in Japan, sits in front of and behind the childhood friend he likes most, and gets to secretly pine for him at school. Aside from not sitting in the back row by the window, he's the quintessential high school winner. But nobody told him when he enrolled that the school would disappear before he graduated! After the school vanishes, Shirakawa Raiha needs a job, so he accepts an invitation from a senior and joins the organization the senior leads. His coworkers are all colorful, talented people. Everyone is so nice to talk to, and he loves it here. But everyone has their own path to follow. After several years on the job, Raiha has risen to a senior position and has no room to advance, so he changes jobs. What, you want to know where he works now? Ever heard of the Remnants of Despair? He just switched over there. :) Everyone at his old workplace: “No!! Don't come over here!!!” A few things to know before reading: This is my first story, and I really was starving, so I had to write it to feed myself. Please be kind. Especially the first ten chapters, which are pretty rough. Things should gradually improve later (probably...). In this story, Komaeda's childhood changes because of other people's interference, so his personality differs a little from the original Komaeda's. (Note the childhood-friend tag.) If you're not enjoying it, please leave right away. The timeline may be a little off, but I've done my best to sort it out. If anyone spots something, just consider it my personal setting. I'm a delicate soul, so love and peach, everyone~ I drew the cover myself. Thanks to Kill Cuckoo for kindly helping with the finishing touches Includes the Despair Arc, Danganronpa IF, Danganronpa 2, and Future Arc. If you're ready to keep reading, then... ready Theme: Hope will always defeat despair
