Cosplaying as Tomie to Survive in Yokohama

#Recommended companion fic: *The Human Disaster Preaches in Detective Conan*, crossover spin-off with Danganronpa# Blurb I am Miyamizu Tomie. Since I share a name with Tomie from the famous Junji Ito Collection, my friends strongly urged me not only to watch it, but also to cosplay a gender-swapped Tomie. Then... I transmigrated. The good news: I transmigrated into Bungo Stray Dogs, not the Junji Ito series where sanity is in constant danger. The bad news: I don't know Bungo Stray Dogs well, and on top of that, I acquired Tomie's constitution. So, to stay alive, I had no choice but to keep my head down! Then I met a walking pool of black sludge. He said his name was Dazai Osamu. Miyamizu Tomie: ... First thought: Oh no, he seems to be a main character! Second thought: He seems totally unaffected by Tomie's constitution! Before he could think twice, Miyamizu Tomie immediately decided to cling to him! But this wasn't the end of his attempts to stay alive. With no other ideas, Miyamizu Tomie began trying to save himself. Then he encountered that incident, and felt himself gradually being influenced and assimilated by Tomie's constitution... * The first time Dazai met Miyamizu Tomie, he was beside one of Dazai's targets. Because of his extraordinary beauty, Dazai initially got the wrong idea about him. Later, the target died. So Dazai watched helplessly as Miyamizu Tomie latched onto him. At first, Dazai thought he had some scheme, so he pretended to agree. Then he realized that Tomie not only liked staying cooped up in his room, but also relied on his looks to get his way. He seemed to have nothing going on upstairs, either. Dazai, saddled with rumors that he was keeping a beauty hidden away: ... Before long, however, he realized that Miyamizu Tomie seemed to have a mental-type supernatural ability. Everyone who saw Miyamizu Tomie without exception went mad and fell in love with him, sometimes... growing to hate him out of love and wanting to kill him. Just when Dazai thought this was all there was to Miyamizu Tomie and was about to lose interest, something unexpected happened: Tomie came back from the dead. After that, Dazai noticed a slight change in Tomie's personality, and realized he was hiding something. Just as he was about to uncover the truth, Dazai found himself in a situation beyond his control, powerless to stop what was happening-- Just then, a pair of smooth, pale hands wrapped around his neck, cool to the touch. A faint fragrance drifted beneath his nose. Dazai could even feel the faint breath against his ear as Tomie leaned close. Then he heard Tomie's deeply seductive voice: "Would you like me to help you, Mr. Dazai?" As he watched the people under Miyamizu Tomie's spell madly turn on and kill one another, a perfectly controlled smile appeared on Dazai Osamu's face. At last, he understood: bewitching the world and leading it into hell. The thing he had always sought was right within reach. Content Warnings ● Dazai is the pairing, and the protagonist is the bottom. ● He has Tomie's constitution, not a supernatural ability. He cannot split into multiple people, but can die and come back to life. ● The protagonist is an ordinary college student (emphasis added) with social anxiety, not the original Tomie. Later, he will grow under the influence of his constitution. ● A small amount of cross-dressing appears early on. *After COSplaying the Decay of the Angel, I Thrive in Detective Conan*, ensemble crossover Blurb COSplay transmigration stopped being popular ages ago. Especially the trend from a couple of years ago, where people COSplayed the Armed Detective Agency and Port Mafia and transmigrated into Bungo Stray Dogs. That's old news. Still, just in case, my friends and I, all of us COSplay enthusiasts, decided to COSplay our own versions of the Decay of the Angel: Fyodor, Dazai, Ranpo, and Shibusawa. Wait, you're asking who the fifth person is? Could it be that the Decay of the Angel only has four members? (Laughs.) But things didn't go as expected. The COSplay transmigration trope arrived late, but it arrived all the same. Only, we didn't end up in Bungo Stray Dogs, but in the world of Detective Conan. (Closes eyes.) #A reboot of Detective Conan where no popular characters die!!!# #New characters appear? And what are these organizations...? # #[Decay of the Angel]?! The common enemy of both the Black and Red sides! What exactly is their goal...? # Looking at the four silhouettes in the manga preview on the official manga forum app that had automatically linked to our phones, as well as the role-play scores and main-story progress in our group chat app, we fell into thought. So, to get home, we had to complete these tasks. Haha, what a coincidence. All four Bungo Stray Dogs characters we were COSplaying are masterminds. We're the best at this. And so... --After COSplaying the Decay of the Angel, we thrive in the world of Detective Conan! *[Demon] Route In a cafe, while the people around him cried out in fear, Fyodor calmly sat drinking tea at the crime scene. His strange behavior caught Conan's attention, but as a detective, he was more concerned with examining the scene, so he decided to look for clues first. Fyodor: ... Fyodor: Isn't it obvious that man is the culprit? Why is he still looking for clues? Fyodor couldn't understand. Since he wanted to meet up with his friends, he decided to deal with the culprit first. And so... Culprit: Waaaah, thank goodness that kind Russian man talked me through it. Otherwise, I would have stayed stuck in the wrong way of thinking, waaaah... Conan's eyes shook: I knew that man was no ordinary person! What did he do?! Innocent Fyodor (who had used brainwashing without meaning to): I only gave him a kind piece of advice... *[World's Number One Detective] Route After a period when no one understood him, Ranpo was taken in by the Decay of the Angel (original setting), but wherever he went, he could always put his talent to use. Customer No. 1: Excuse me... What should I do? Then they went on and on about their personal problems. Ranpo, lounging in a chair and eating snacks: Isn't that easy? All you need to do is... (and on and on), but in the end, this great detective will catch you! Customer No. 1: I get it, you're dropping me a hint! Then Customer No. 1 went off to commit a crime and ran into Ranpo at the scene. This only made them more certain. As the crime unfolded exactly as they had described, and Customer No. 1 was plainly the culprit, Ranpo immediately told the police the truth. Customer No. 1, after being caught: I don't regret doing all this for you! If it weren't for you, I never would have been satisfied... Ranpo: ? This person is weird. Later, there was Customer No. 2, Customer No. 3... The dark-skinned detective, who realized there was some connection between the culprit and Ranpo: Damn it! There has to be a connection! I'll find your weakness! *[Mastermind] Route At the liquor company, Dazai's unmatched methods earned him a codename without question: Godfather. Just like the liquor he's named after, he does whatever he wants. Everyone at the liquor company knew of him, because a saying circulated there: The most unfortunate thing about being his enemy is being his enemy. *[Collector] Route Only Shibusawa Tatsuhiko diligently worked on creating his own clothing brand, striving to cover his friends' expenses. Shibusawa Tatsuhiko: ... This family would fall apart without me. * Finally, looking at the four of them thriving in their new lives, Conan and the dark-skinned detective couldn't help but shout: Who are you people? And why are you using famous authors' names? They smirked, then answered with a laugh: "Us? We're just the [Decay of the Angel]." Theme: Love life and face the future with hope!
