The Comic's Protagonist Decides to Overthrow the Script

[Original danmei, pre-release: This Is Seriously Explosive Even by Infinite-Flow Standards. Completed fanfic: The Armed Cursed Detective Agency.] Jingongsi Huaji discovered two things. First, he was the protagonist of a hot-blooded shonen manga. Second, he might be about to die. Because the manga's author said in a forum interview that it would end with a happy ending in which only the protagonist sacrificed himself. The protagonist himself: ...??? Huh? What? Author, are you crazy or something? To stay alive, Jingongsi Huaji decided to study the forum from the beginning and do his best to overturn the author's plot. But the discussion on the forum just kept getting stranger. [He used the organization's power to save Hagiwara, but then didn't dare go see him. Jingongsi Huaji, what are you running from? I'm really going to cry!] Jingongsi Huaji: ? Jingongsi Huaji: There's a whole criminal gang behind me. Guess what I'm running from? [Dazai lost his friend and defected from the organization. It's so cruel of him to do that to Huaji. I can't even imagine what he'll do when he finds out the truth. No wonder he got more and more desperate under Mori. My heart hurts.] Jingongsi Huaji: ? Jingongsi Huaji: Cry over Dazai, why are you crying over me?? [Last time, the Police Academy Five were still friends here. This time, he can only be a stranger to his old friends. He did everything he could to save Toru and Hiromitsu, but he'll never earn their trust again...] Jingongsi Huaji: ? Jingongsi Huaji: Before you say that, take a look at Gin sitting next to us? [He wanted everyone around him to live and laugh, only to realize the world didn't need him in it. That ending is so cruel to Huaji.] Jingongsi Huaji: Wait Even the manga's author showed up in the thread to reply passionately. "Yes, it's very cruel. But I understand him. It's what he's been searching for all along, so he'll definitely make that choice in the end." Jingongsi Huaji: ???? Jingongsi Huaji (furious): Get lost! What the hell do you know about Jingongsi Huaji?! On days when nothing was happening in the plot, Jingongsi Huaji diligently posted pictures on the forum, trying to reshape his forum persona into that of a cheerful, sunny young man. A few years later, Huaji began checking the results. System, am I now recognized on the forum as a cheerful, sunny young man? System: No. They think you're even more beautiful, strong, and tragic. Huaji: ? > Not a conventional fix-it story. The protagonist is neither on the good guys' side nor a true member of the organization. > The protagonist has no CP, but the forum's in-story posts do ship and torment him. > The blurb has been revised, but the premise is unchanged. The Jujutsu Kaisen elements have been removed. > Blurb saved as evidence on May 4, 2023. A recommendation for another pre-release story. Check my author page.
