(It's time to face reality: updates will be every other day at the earliest and weekly at the latest, but there will be updates!) Players who treat reality as a game are the Fourth Calamity. But what if a player takes a game as seriously as reality itself? Sounds strange? That's just how incredibly weird this player is. What follows is a record of this player's life in the Jujutsu Kaisen world. It includes a whole bunch of cursed spirit incidents, some with happy endings and some tragic; a few spooky summer ghost stories; whispers from indescribable entities lurking in the dark; several game-within-a-game playthroughs that may not be easy but are still fun; and a player whose personality is somehow off, though nobody knows exactly how. If a life-simulation game has a victory condition, the greatest victory would surely be to possess the world. But what does it mean to possess the world? To become the richest, most powerful, and most famous person alive... Or to cup the hands and protect everyone who lives earnestly in the palms of those hands? About the darkest, most evil old geezers in the jujutsu world: 1. A: “Oh no! A terrifying special-grade cursed spirit has appeared! Quickly, summon all the members of the higher-ups to discuss what to do!” A few days later A: “Haven't they finished discussing it yet? Almost everyone's dead.” B: “They still haven't reached a decision. But that person from the Zenin clan has already dealt with the cursed spirit.” 2. A: “Oh no! A terrifying special-grade cursed spirit has appeared overseas, and we need to send jujutsu sorcerers to deal with it. The higher-ups will take at least three months to discuss it, right?” B: “No, they've finished discussing it.” A: “How is that possible?! How could those useless old geezers pass up such a rare chance to play hot potato?” B: “It's all thanks to that esteemed person from the Zenin clan!” 3. A: “Oh no! A terrifying game cursed spirit has appeared. What does that esteemed person say?” B: “That esteemed person has already set off with the Gojo clan's honored child to deal with the cursed spirit!” ABCDE: “As expected of that esteemed person!” “The Gojo clan's honored child”: What do you say to your esteemed person turning traitor at first sight? Player: ...My sanity was too low, so I failed the dice roll. (sobs) 1. This is highly original, with little from the source material. It tells my own story against a Jujutsu Kaisen backdrop. I'm trying to write Japanese horror, American horror, and Lovecraftian horror, but the protagonist is so calm that it doesn't really seem scary. (sobs) 2. The main themes are witnessing and protecting. I'm trying to write some new things and some old things. In a serious coming-of-age monster-fighting story, you'll find tycoon games, the Gatling Bodhisattva, gambling contests, wilderness survival, rule-based urban legends, variety-show mediation, escape rooms, horror livestreams, and the end of the world. There's school, too. 3. A collection of episodic stories, including some obscure standalone games and hybrid games that combine genres of standalone games I've played. What is this, if not an infinite-flow story? 4. The protagonist is Chaotic Good. They're good at sarcasm, mockery, threats, backstabbing, lying, and framing others, but they're a good person. 5.
