Coming soon: Yu Huan and Expired Fairy Tales (the next novel)
Yu Sheng met Finn at a bar in Berlin.
At a lavish party, the white fog from the dry ice cleared, and he looked over at her, cool and detached, yet nonchalant.
In the light, Yu Sheng got a good look at him.
His hair was golden brown, his skin pale and cool, his eyes deep-set and flecked with tiny glimmers of light. Yet his expression gave away little.
That night, in the dim light and shadows of the stairwell, neither knew who had first touched whose lips. The air was thick with heat and desire.
When the darkness finally lifted, Yu Sheng saw the complexity in his eyes, as if he regretted losing control.
After a long, silent stare, Finn straightened her dress. “I’m sorry.”
Yu Sheng smiled as if it were nothing and tilted her head. “Shall we go somewhere else?”
Two weeks later, Yu Sheng returned to Berlin. Swept up in a moment of passion, she and Finn became contract lovers for the month she would be in Germany.
For that month, he put up with all her impatience and unreasonable demands, gently soothing her with tender words. He played the perfect lover to a tee.
Yu Sheng enjoyed every moment. Just as she was about to fall completely, her visa expired.
Certain he would forget her before long, she deliberately left behind a striking lipstick and the scent of a custom-blended perfume.
Finn saw through her but didn’t say a word. As if refusing to be outdone, he leaned close to her ear and murmured something just as meaningful: “Actually, that wasn’t the first time we met.”
Before she could ask, he smiled and saw her off in the car to the airport.

They met again at a charity auction back home.
He stood in the second-floor corridor, his cold, unfeeling lips and tender gaze blending together. He wore his head-to-toe black with effortless perfection.
The second Yu Sheng looked away, a stranger’s voice came from beside her: “Mr. Freudenberg would like you to come upstairs.”
This time, she declined his invitation.
Several days later, a message came to her phone. It ended with: [Please give me another chance. Let me die at your hands, or die for you.]
Not long after, Yu Sheng learned that Finn had first met her when she was twenty, and had already seen her as someone unique.
“From the first moment I saw you, I knew I would love you. Like a wild beast, like a blaze. But I mustn’t. This cannot happen. It would bring the mountains down, and leave me bloody and broken.”

Expired Fairy Tales
The day after moving into Tonglou, Yan Zhixun was told that the landlady had gone overseas with the town’s senior citizens’ band to perform.
All she left behind was a woman who was nocturnal and incapable of looking after herself, and a mischievous three-year-old.
With no other choice, Yan Zhixun had to play dad.
After the little rascal tricked him again and again, he finally snapped. “Your parents named you Yanchu because they wanted you to keep your word.”
Yanchu looked up at him innocently with big eyes. “Grandma always says my mom comes up with whatever she feels like, so my mom named me that.”
“...Your dad doesn’t stop her?”
“I’ve never met my dad, but Mom says his name is Goudan. Sounds like he never went to school.”
A month later.
Looking at the mother and child before him, Yan Zhixun came to two conclusions:
The mom who can’t look after herself = his ex-girlfriend
The uneducated Goudan = him

Yan Xiao never thought she’d see her ex-boyfriend again in this lifetime.
All she could say was that time really was a dog-killing knife. It had worn a dog down into a lovesick puppy.
Yan Xiao never had a kind word for this guy who circled around her all day, and kept hinting that he should hurry up and leave.
The dog who was average but brimming with confidence opened her new book right in front of her and asked the soul-searching question: “Is this the ‘I’ll love Yan Zhixun forever’ you were talking about?”
Yan Xiao turned to the last page without changing her expression.
Yan Zhixun’s eyes dropped. He caught sight of the small print at the end:
“This story is purely fictional.”
Theme: Be brave enough to pursue love
If someone sees it, it will definitely be seen by more people.
After reading it, it was the first time I read this type of novel, and I felt it was quite different. The narratives in the middle ranged from funny and joyful to dull. In fact, the whole article felt very bland. Some things had their own destiny. It would not be appropriate to say that the male and female protagonists redeemed each other. I can only say that they were only each other and could not be anyone else. It was a very dull way of getting along. But I was still stunned when I guessed that Su might be gone. I also saw that Lin had bought a cemetery and said that he had gone to the Middle East and would never come back. Maybe they would meet in another place. The story between Tangtang and Pei is actually quite exciting. In short, this is the first time I read a large article. I feel that the writing style is very delicate. There is no need for big ups and downs. It is very simple and catchy. Come on, come on, come on, come on!
Good-looking, but not enough, wedding, baby, growing old together
Ahhhhhhhh I want to watch the extras
Finished reading. Finished spreading flowers ~ Good night

Su Youcheng, isn't it? She didn't go on the trip. She has cancer, right? At first I thought it was Finn who had cancer.
