What do you do if a ghost falls in love with you?

Professor Snape, Head of Slytherin House, had firsthand experience. His feelings were complicated. "...It's not so bad, I guess."

What if the ghost has pale golden hair and loves wearing red dresses?

Professor Snape's feelings grew even more complicated. He closed his eyes. "It's... still all right."

What if the ghost is not only arrogant, self-centered, and convinced she is always right, but also lazy and irresponsible?

Professor Snape [cold laugh]: "A little more discipline, and she'll learn to behave."

The ghosts all say Vivian is henpecked. Whenever Assistant Snape gets a dark look on his face, she drops whatever she's doing and hurries to placate him. Her authority as a wife is practically nonexistent. [Sigh] [Sigh]

Snape [coldly]: "Are you all blind? Have you never seen me placate her?"

Vivian [hesitantly]: "Ahem, they... might not be blind, exactly?"

Snape [dangerously]: "I've never placated you?"

Vivian [obediently]: "I'm usually the one who makes you angry, after all. So naturally, I'm usually the one who makes it up to you."

Snape [softly]: "Mm."

Vivian breathed a sigh of relief. At least she wouldn't be locked out today.

1. The early plot will follow the original Harry Potter books as closely as possible. Some spin-off plot elements are expansions based on J.K. Rowling's imagination. The later part, after Professor Snape's death, comes from the author's imagination. The main story follows Vivian and Professor Snape.

2. Professor Snape will still go through the events he experienced in the original books [forced explanation: this is to stay true to the original], and he will still die [for the female lead and the plot]. Don't read if this bothers you.

3. The author's understanding of Harry Potter comes from the books and movies. If anything is wrong, feel free to point it out. I'll see if I can change it. If I can't, then it's just my own headcanon, QAQ.

4. The female lead and most of the material about the ghost world are the author's own inventions. The female lead is powerful and dotes on Professor Snape. Don't read if that bothers you.

In short, the author wants to write a different kind of pairing, as well as the true ending of Harry Potter hidden in the ghost world [Harry Potter belongs to J.K. Rowling. This is just my imagination! My imagination!].

The silly author admits defeat: I just can't manage to write that last extra chapter. [Cries] I've been trying for over a year and still can't get it out. I've changed the status to "Complete." As for that extra chapter I couldn't finish, this silly author can't do it, so I'll leave it to the silly author of the future.
