After the story broke, Yu Xi faced the threat of being taken off the air, and her haters all guessed she would fall from grace.

Yu Xi fought tooth and nail for a chance to explain herself on stream.

She had just finished preparing her statement when her mysterious top supporter flooded the chat with gifts, along with a particularly conspicuous message: [The patronage is fake, but we're really getting together].

Onlookers were stunned, and the CP fans came back to life and saw hope again. But Yu Xi, the person at the center of it all, was utterly confused: Could this person be a spy sent by the other side?

The next day, the head of a well-known game studio issued a clarification and announced the first collaboration the studio had initiated since its founding.

Xu Zhi looked up calmly, smiling with easy composure. "The person who answered that question was your client. I'm your boyfriend. We're not the same."

"You called me that the other night, too." Jiang Yue rubbed the center of her palm with his thumb, as if savoring some memory. "But I remember you seemed pretty satisfied."
