After Becoming a Follower of the Evil God

On the brink of death, the fanatical believer Luo Shu was swept up into an expedition as an explorer.

Each expedition randomly takes its participants to a city that exists as the inverse of a real-world city. The deranged consciousness of these mirror cities will do everything it can to hunt down intruders.

Luo Shu is useless at everything except fighting, where he's number one. After entering a dungeon, he relies on the protection he has and starts fighting at the slightest disagreement. He throws punches before anyone can finish three sentences, clearing dungeons through sheer force.

While others solve puzzles, he fights. While others are in danger, he fights. Once the others clear the dungeon and leave the ancient city, they find Luo Shu in the waiting area, idly killing his way through the dungeon over and over.

"My god says I can kill for fun."

And so Luo Shu and his god slaughter their way through the expedition.

After several expeditions, Luo Shu and his god become famous throughout the program. Everyone knows the name of the fanatical believer.

And in a corner unknown to anyone, the fanatical believer Luo Shu cradles the last remaining piece of his divine throne. Through the swirling smoke, his eyes redden as he gazes at and begs the one he longs for:

Look at me. Please look at me.

So the god says yes. Wrapped in mist, it comes from the deepest ocean.

Amid endless seawater, the fragile blush beneath its believer's eyes as he prays is the only living light in the deep sea.

The city consciousness, which thought it had found the intruders' weakness: !!! Sorry to disturb you!

☆ About the god worshipped by the bottom: friends, meet our Lord and Savior, Cthulhu

☆ The top is R'lyeh, the city that sank beneath the sea in the Cthulhu Mythos, where Great Cthulhu and his followers sleep

☆ Some personal tastes: (eldritch) god x (fanatical) believer

☆ A little believer who's domineering, cool, and arrogant in public, but soft and sweet in private. Don't ask why the contrast is so great. My tastes are decidedly lowbrow (*/ω\*)
