After I Died, the Buddhist Prince Fell into Demonic Ways

Ting Nan was a little sparrow. She met a young cultivator who told her she had spiritual roots and wanted to help her cultivate and become human.

They fell in love, traveled together, and fought demons and monsters across the world, saving all living beings.

Then the little sparrow became a shameful demon, and the young man died saving her.

Five hundred years later, they met again. The young man had become a Buddhist monk of profound wisdom, and his eyes no longer saw her.

But later, he gave up his Buddhist form for another woman, shaved away his Buddha bones, and even

used the blood from Ting Nan's heart to prolong her life.

As her powers faded away, Ting Nan thought, Perhaps this was for the best. At least she had repaid his kindness.

She only wondered whether he would feel even a little regret when he remembered her. But that no longer mattered.

Because she was about to die. Those who cultivated demonic powers had no next life. This death would truly scatter her soul into oblivion.

Jia Guye stared at the female demon before him, trembling as he clutched his chest and spat out a mouthful of blood.

Just then, he remembered who he had once been, and who the woman before him was. She was, his little sparrow.

And in an instant, he fell into demonic corruption.

The world no longer had the exalted Buddhist monk Jia Guye. All that remained was a mad, demonic fiend.

Later, with prayer beads in hand, he sat outside the home of the resurrected Ting Nan and her new husband, listening to them consummate their marriage.

He suddenly remembered the fortune he had asked Buddha for five hundred years ago. It had said:

Fleeting earthly ties cannot be forced.

P.S. This story is mainly about putting the male lead through the wringer.
