Impossible to Woo (Revenge Arc)

The head of the criminal investigation squad x the beauty of the digital forensics team

Back then, you ignored me. Now I'll make you chase after me relentlessly.

Back in school, Jiang Shiqing liked Xu Yan and threw away all her pride to pursue him like a moth to a flame. She changed her tastes and preferences for him, and even applied to the police academy just to follow him.

But Xu Yan had no heart. He was always flippant and never gave his heart to anyone.

Jiang Shiqing grew tired of chasing him and finally saw through him. She turned and left, leaving a mess behind.

Years later, a beautiful new police officer joined the digital forensics unit of the city's criminal investigation squad. Her face was both innocent and alluring, instantly driving all the squad's single men wild.

The men were scrambling to get Jiang Shiqing's attention when someone drawled, "Our boss is still single. Don't you have any respect for your elders or your leaders?"

Xu Yan smoked, completely unconcerned. "Go ahead and pursue her. Don't count me in."

Little did anyone know that as he said this, he had already crushed the cigarette in his hand, yet felt no heat in his palm.

Later, he wouldn't let any man on his team approach Jiang Shiqing for personal reasons. Like the most vicious falcon, he drew her tightly under his wings, where she could no longer escape.

A friend asked, "Finally got your face-slapping moment?"

Xu Yan replied, "No. That happened many years ago."
