Outgoing, passionate model x reserved, composed chief justice

Shen Xici was originally a stand-in arranged to stay by Si Zhan's side. She planned to take the money and do the job, but unexpectedly fell head over heels for him.

Unfortunately, Si Zhan was born impossible to warm. Heartbroken, Shen Xici returned the money and broke up with him unilaterally.

After the breakup, she threw herself into her career, joining a girl-group competition show and making it all the way to debut night.

Si Zhan assumed she hadn't contacted him for months because she was in the show's closed-off training program. He never watched entertainment programs, but on debut night he glanced at the screen for Shen Xici's sake, just in time to catch an interview backstage about her love life.

On camera, Shen Xici's breathtaking face lit up with the most sincere smile as she chatted confidently: "I don't have a boyfriend. I've been single since birth."

The friend watching the show with Si Zhan: "Bro, I think... you got dumped?"

After successfully debuting in the center position, Shen Xici was assigned by her agency to appear on a lifestyle variety show. On the first day of filming, she nearly dropped her jaw when the host introduced the celebrity legal consultant.

Before filming was even over, Si Zhan cornered her outside the women's restroom.

Shen Xici: "Mr. Si, please show some self-respect. We broke up, and I've already returned the money."

Si Zhan: "Don't you know breaking the contract means paying double the compensation?"
