[Crossover] Who the Hell Is My Dad?

There's an Italian joke that the world is so cruel that a girl needs two fathers to look after her. That's where godfathers come from.

Imai Shinjo never asked who her father was. To use the words she'd studied for the IELTS (?) back then, it was "too complicated" and "not very important." Instead, she had plenty of godfathers, each claiming to be her mother's business partner, close friend, ex, or nemesis.

When her daughter was seventeen, Ms. Imai fell gravely ill. Before she died, she handed her a list of suspicious men, ranging in age from thirty-four to one hundred and twenty-one, and insisted that once the funeral was over, she set out to find her biological father and visit her godfathers.

Imai Shinjo thought for a moment. "Do you want me to beat him up and drag him to your grave so he can be buried with you?"

"Not exactly," said Ms. Imai. "You might have half-brothers, you know. You can't exactly get a paternity test every time you fall in love. Thank goodness. You mustn't end up hooking up with your own brother."

"?"

"Or your father."

"??"
