[Its black wings swept across the sky once more, casting a huge, twisted shadow over the earth: Dionyx, the dragon at the world's end, the nightmare of all living things.]
Dionyx was born in an age when magic had withered. Pain filled it with hatred and malice. It looked down upon all living things: disaster, chaos, and destruction. Who should it start with?
Until one day.
The evil dragon that would destroy the world, wearing a secret identity, was somehow picked up by a mage from beneath a cliff and taken back to the Gray Tower.
The Gray Tower was home to a mage and a young apprentice, with a knight commander who occasionally stayed the night, and a notorious mercenary who lived there too.
And so the mysterious, terrifying magical creature, disguised as a young girl, began living with her human companions.
"The Gray Tower is great, except for that awful mercenary."
That was what the dragon thought.
One bastard meets another.
Even the wicked have their match.
A lazy, ill-tempered, devil-may-care mercenary vs. an evil dragon who keeps switching between Smaug and Toothless
/Unaware that they are each other's natural predators/
/The constant threat they sense from each other/
/We hunt each other/
In the Gray Tower, everyone worriedly discussed where the evil dragon that had nearly destroyed the world was hiding.
The dragon was sitting upstairs, listening to them.
She held a red, gold-lettered copy of The Essentials of Magical Biology. After skimming the introduction to the chapter on dragons, she raised an eyebrow. "...Winged, scaled, large-bodied, reptilian; long-lived, irritable, highly vengeful..."
She kept reading and paused. "Natural enemies of dragons..."
Someone guiltily pressed a hand over the page.
Dionyx looked up. It was the mercenary, who still bore wounds from iron and blood.
The mercenary tossed the book far away, slipped her a gemstone he'd swiped from who knew where, and took the opportunity to touch her little hand.
The dragon quietly clutched the gemstone, watching their hands slowly clasp together.
How outrageous.
She wanted to eat people.
The young apprentice downstairs: "Sacrifice a girl to the evil dragon? Why? Doesn't it like eating strong men?"
The dragon watched as the man stood up and removed his armor, revealing his physique.
She looked him up and down.
/Forget Beauty and the Beast. The beauty is the beast herself. √/

1. After Becoming the Main Characters' Big Brother
[Our Fellow Daoist Is Listless and Depressed, Yet Still a Force to Be Reckoned With]
There are far too many Chosen Ones in this broken world, and the number of cannon fodder is plummeting.
Yan Chuan, an unlucky transmigrator and president of the Cannon Fodder Mutual Aid Association.
She picked out a little mountain for herself and enjoyed a few years of quiet cultivation.
As luck would have it, the main characters happened to pass over her mountain while fighting with magic.
She climbed out of her collapsed bamboo chair, silently flipped away the little blanket she'd used to cover herself while sunbathing, and slowly drew the long sword from her back.
"Come on, fight. Why'd you stop?"
The Dragon Aots: ...We can't beat her. Let's stop.
Later, when the Chosen Ones built their careers and founded sects, they'd point proudly and say, "See that person? That's my big bro!"
Passersby would turn to look at Yan Chuan, listlessly basking in the sun against a tree, a sword in her arms.
This fellow Daoist had a cool, aloof face. She opened her eyes and glanced over.
Passersby: She looks like she can really fight!
Yan Chuan: ...Isn't this all going a little wrong...?
All I wanted back then was some peace and quiet. Now that the world is peaceful, why is everything around me getting noisier?
The great villain who once divided the world with the Chosen Ones was reborn in the body of a minor cannon-fodder character. He looked at his senior sister: listless, depressed, lazy, and unmotivated. If she could lie down, she would never stand up.
Yan Chuan thought her junior apprentice was a traitor.
Years later, Yan Chuan's name resounded throughout the world. The man who had always stayed by her side openly defected to the evil path, sending the world into an uproar.
He bowed low and kissed her fingertips. "You can treat me however you like now, my... senior sister."
[The charm of the traitor aesthetic is the charm of betrayal itself!]
World-weary and strongest √
Listless female lead √
2. She Lives Beyond Humanity [A Collection of Nonhuman Tales]
Every story features a nonhuman female lead and a human male lead
Story 1 [Fourteen Finger Bones], Lovecraftian Old God
The evil god lost fourteen of its finger bones.
My blindly obedient, mad, foolish believers, one of you stole them.
Lovecraftian heroine vs. fanatical, unhinged priest
/O corrupted believer, your god is watching you/
Story 2 [The Silent Siren], Deep-Sea Monster
Throughout the age of conquering the sea, people were always accompanied by fear, as if the moment they left the land, they lost their courage too.
Siren: the name people gave to every monster in the ocean, whether it had a human face and bird's body, a human body and fish's tail, or a human head and eight claws.
On a stormy night, a duke sailed through those waters. The figurehead on his ship, used to ram enemy vessels, was carved as a siren with a human body and two tails.
Lightning flashed a deathly white across the sea, and in that instant he saw the real sirens.
They floated on the surface, or perched with their claws on the reefs, gazing into the distance. Then they turned their necks to look at the great ship.
Their expressions were cold and inhuman, yet their eyes seemed to brim with tears. Their mouths hung half-open, then slowly closed. Sirens could not bewitch anyone beneath the lightning.
The great ship sailed through the towering waves, and the sirens vanished from the sea.
All but one.
She followed alongside the ship, her cold gaze fixed on the figurehead, the double-tailed siren carved from a huge piece of timber.
The duke murmured, "Do you think she's curious?" The first mate said nothing.
Silence reigned across the deck. The duke broke it at last. "Capture her."
Story 3 [Medusa's Shield], Snake Woman
Every shield in the expeditionary army was engraved with Medusa's face, in the hope of gaining the power to terrify their enemies.
As it turned out, humans cannot borrow courage from monsters.
Their army broke, and the victors gave chase.
The battlefield's severed limbs and blood drew a monster: a snake woman.
A knight fell from his horse into a pool of blood, watching enemies and comrades alike turn into stone statues.
The snake woman slithered toward him, and he instinctively raised his shield.
There was no Medusa on the shield. A lark was engraved in the center.
She seemed to make a tiny sound, like an insect or a baby bird.
It was something she had never seen before.
The towering monster stopped. She took his shield and held it up for a moment, then turned and slithered away.
Her thick tail swept across the grass, dragging the knight away.
Other stories to be decided.
Theme: Live life with a positive attitude.
I've already set my appetite for my wife, and then come back and write a Western fantasy [crying]
Shock! My wife actually only has this book. I thought there were already many books that I could read.
It's so beautiful! Such a treasure of Western fantasy novels are not ranked high (shocked jpg.)
Great, the flowers are finished! I really like this kind of twist. Longlong, my treasure is so cute hehehehe
It's really delicious. Woohoo.
The cp is quite cute, the crazy flavor is great, and the writing atmosphere is also good, but the narrative is a little messy and the beginning looks a bit tiring. But it's still good~
I really like this book. My wife is awesome.
The author's writing is great and orthodox. It reminds me of Jinjiang in the past.
Did you see that Soft-hearted didn't write anything else?
