* Short-tempered, world-weary powerhouse
* Original title: After Becoming the Big Brother to the Protagonists
A lazy, listless yet genuinely badass heroine gets the wrong script and stumbles into a world crawling with overpowered protagonists, where she becomes a disposable side character.
Her old master, a seasoned couch potato, hands Yan Chuan a scroll titled "A Complete Guide to Friends and Frenemies." "These are my old friends. When things get tough, you can use them as scapegoats."
Yan Chuan opens the battered paper: an old master smith who spends every day fleeing for his life, a poor and down-on-his-luck sword cultivator with a fatherly streak, and an antisocial alchemist with human bones in his furnace...
Yan Chuan falls into deep thought. ...To become a big shot, do you first have to call yourself a couch potato?
The overpowered protagonists look down on everyone. Disdainful of the disposable side character, they blast the little mountain where she was sunbathing, right next to Lishu Mountain.
At the summit sword conference, Yan Chuan takes on 128 elite disciples single-handedly and wins herself a mountain closest to Lishu Mountain.
The overpowered protagonists find all sorts of ways to kneel.
Yan Chuan slowly wipes her long sword and says coolly, "From now on, we're good neighbors."
Years later, Yan Chuan single-handedly crushes the hypocritical righteous sects and tramples the demonic path. Inch by inch, she reclaims a pure land for humanity. The righteous and demonic paths obediently give up their most comfortable, peaceful peak for the number one swordswoman, who likes to call herself a little couch potato, so she can sunbathe.
The overpowered protagonists go from doggedly trying to suppress her, to struggling to keep up, and finally to gazing up at her in silence.
With the scheming hypocritical righteous sects toppled, they start building careers and founding sects. When recruiting disciples, they speak sincerely and pound their chests in assurance: "Daoist Yan, the number one swordswoman, is my big brother!"
After taking this many beatings, surely it's fair to call ourselves her underlings!
The great antagonist, who in his previous life shared the world with the children of destiny, is reborn in the body of Yan Chuan's junior fellow disciple.
Yan Chuan narrows her eyes at this turncoat. He stands obediently beside her, smiling.
"Senior Sister, please don't hold back with me."
[Preparing a simultaneous release: She's Beyond Humanity. See below for the blurb. There are other completed works and upcoming stories in my author page, all waiting for a home. Adopt one before you go! (>ω]
Every story features a nonhuman heroine and a human hero.
-- Story One: [The Fourteen Finger Bones], eldritch horror --
The evil god has misplaced Their fourteen finger bones.
My blindly obedient, insane, foolish followers, one of you stole them.
Eldritch heroine vs. fanatical, unhinged priest
/You, corrupted believer, the god is watching you/
-- Story Two: [The Silent Siren], deep-sea monster --
As people conquered the oceans, they were always accompanied by fear. It was as if the moment they left solid ground, they lost their courage as well.
Siren: a name people gave to every monster in the ocean. A human face on a bird's body, a human body with a fish's tail, a human head with eight claws.
On a stormy night, the duke sailed through those waters. The figurehead, carved to ram enemy ships, depicted a siren with a human body and two tails.
Lightning flashed a ghastly white across the sea, and in that instant, he saw the real sirens.
They floated on the water or clung to reefs with their claws, gazing into the distance, then turned their necks to look at the great ship.
Their expressions were cold and inhuman, yet their eyes seemed to brim with tears. Their mouths hung half open, then slowly closed. Sirens could not bewitch people beneath the lightning.
The great ship sailed through the towering waves, and the sirens vanished beneath the sea.
Only one remained.
She followed alongside the ship, her cold gaze fixed on the figurehead, the double-tailed siren carved from a massive tree trunk.
The duke murmured, "Do you think she's curious?" The first mate said nothing.
The deck fell silent. The duke broke the long silence. "Capture her."
-- Story Three: [Medusa's Shield], snake woman --
The shields of the expeditionary army were all engraved with Medusa's face, in the hope of gaining the power to intimidate their enemies.
As it turned out, humans could not borrow courage from monsters.
Their army broke, and the victors pursued them relentlessly.
The battlefield's severed limbs and blood drew a monster: a snake woman.
A knight fell from his horse into a pool of blood, watching his enemies and comrades turn into stone statues.
The snake woman slithered toward him, and he instinctively raised his shield.
There was no Medusa on it. A lark was carved into the center.
She seemed to make a faint sound, like an insect or a fledgling.
It was something she had never seen before.
The towering monster stopped. She took his shield, held it up for a moment, then turned and slithered away.
Her thick tail swept across the grass, dragging the knight along.
Other stories to be decided later.
Theme: Helping one another, unity and friendship.
I like it. When Ji Shaosi's name comes up, the image of the little piggy kid getting angry and hitting someone's stomach with his head (because he's only that tall) always pops up in his mind.
[Sahua] I like to read all kinds of stories written by Da Da. I look forward to the sparks between Yanyan and various characters later hehe~
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh stopping me here, I want to dig through the teacher's archives overnight
Wow, the lion is giving out red envelopes at 2 o'clock in the morning, so he should go to bed early! Take good care of yourself
How is your health? I'm so worried. Please reply to me. I'm crying.
Have you changed the copy? Damn it, I like the original better.
What a long story! But I like to think big! The characters in the novel are all pretty well created, and I like the female characters the best. And in fact, I don't just have expectations for female elders. In other words, I look forward to seeing women of all ages in online articles! (It doesn't matter if you don't have one. The heroine is well portrayed, which already makes me, a little reader, very happy [whispers]). Because this book has both teenagers and young women in the text, and they are all well portrayed. I was thinking that the author should pay great attention to the creation of female characters. So when I saw an older man appear, on the one hand, I was worried that only male elders/female elders would be opponents or cannon fodder. On the other hand, I wanted to remind the author not to ignore the female elders. Shaping (so at first I was worried that it would make the author unhappy, and I was afraid that morality would kidnap the author. If this arrangement was not included in the outline, wouldn't I offend others? Another layer of concern is the audience of this book. Maybe most readers do not have the same expectations as me. Will my request affect their reading experience, and thus the author's data, but after thinking about it for a long time, I finally asked it directly... Fortunately, the result of asking the question was good). Another thing I want to say is about reading preferences and influences. I also feel the same way. Many of the previous martial arts and fairy tales were written by middle-aged or elderly people, and I myself have been deeply affected. But now, both the online writing situation and individual thoughts have made progress, even if it is just a spark. I'm really glad that DaDa understands me. I also prefer unpopular articles. Sometimes I find novels with interesting themes and characters, but the overall portrayal of female characters is just average. So I was very happy and surprised to see Da Da's response. This book is very well written! I'm also looking forward to seeing our Yanyan's future story, so cheers! (My speech organization skills are very poor, and I am timid to express, especially positive things. I am afraid of exposing my clumsiness and shallowness, so this is just a long and highly motivated review. If it is not necessary later, I may make few comments and choose to read in silence and support silently. So, don't be disappointed because a reader who once spoke freely suddenly "disappeared" in the comment area TwT)
Yanyan was picked up again just like that [sunglasses]
Yanyan, where did you eat? Did you sleep? Is it cold or not? I haven't seen you for several chapters.
Outside of people, outside of people, God, I'll eat it
