After the Dating Show, My Rivals in Love Turned It into a Battlefield for Me

Xi Jiayan joins a dating show, and the sponsor hints that if he pursues the most ordinary contestant wholeheartedly until the end, they'll give him career opportunities.

Ha, who do they think they're looking down on?

Xi Jiayan's response: This is just... great!

On the hit dating show, a sweet, innocent star is pursued by five contestants and ultimately couples up with a top movie star.

All four of the contestants who lose in love are left disappointed, but Xi Jiayan is the one viewers can't stop feeling sorry for.

Throughout the show, everyone schemes and fights against one another.

Xi Jiayan alone offers the sweet star trust, tenderness, and devotion from beginning to end.

When the sweet star couples up with the movie star, Xi Jiayan's distant, heartbroken gaze becomes legendary across the internet.

And so, amid cries of "Our dear brother should give up on love and focus on his career," Xi Jiayan works nonstop all year, rising from a nobody to a top star.

As the strongest rival, Xi Jiayan is the one his romantic rivals fear most.

Yet when the show ends, the question that weighs on them most is:

Why didn't the sweet star choose Xi Jiayan? How could they not choose Xi Jiayan!

Later, the sweet star and the movie star grow to loathe each other, and the news that they are dating for the sake of a family agreement explodes across the internet.

The sweet star boldly announces his love: "Jiayan, I can finally tell you that I love you!"

But the three former suitors respond together:

[A love that comes too late is worth less than grass. Stay away from Jiayan!]

The top movie star drops an even bigger bombshell:

"Why do you think I agreed to this fake relationship? Jiayan didn't care about the fame and fortune I offered him, and insisted on liking you. But if I could break you up once, I can keep you apart for the rest of your lives!"

Xi Jiayan: "...Wait. Weren't we talking about the sweet star? You call the movie star ordinary?"

- A stunning beauty, a heartthrob adored by everyone, and a powerful shou

- Jiayan is a bit of a natural-born heartbreaker, and far too rational and clear-headed

- No mutual gong-shou roles or reversals
