Please, Give Me an Alpha

As a Beta who grew up with everything going his way, Liu Qiyu was the kind of child other people's parents wished they had.

Without the trouble of pheromones, wasn't it great to devote himself wholeheartedly to his studies?

He was not only hailed as the male god of the engineering school, but even the most outstanding Omegas looked on him with favor.

But as a pure Beta, there was one thing Liu Qiyu always found difficult to admit. That was... he only liked Alphas.

Liking Alphas wasn't big news.

The problem was that he wanted to find an Alpha partner, but he also didn't want to have children himself.

Not understanding what those two conditions meant when combined, Liu Qiyu honestly entered them the first time he registered his preferences for matchmaking. The next second, the entire empire received a new marriage announcement: [Liu Qiyu, Beta, healthy and with a wide range of interests, sincerely seeking an outstanding, handsome, tall Alpha wife to have children with and grow old together.]

Liu Qiyu: What?!

C-can I withdraw from the matchmaking process now and salvage my social death?

Qin Shizhao had sneered at matchmaking ever since coming of age, and his profession had made him dislike Omegas even more.

Taking advantage of the contradictions in the matching criteria, he had managed to trap himself, a top Alpha, in a dead end, and year after year he got the failed match he wanted.

Until the day a Beta with a decidedly odd way of thinking entered an even more bizarre set of partner preferences into the System...

And so, for the first time in the history of the empire...

Two utterly absurd sets of partner preferences matched.
