Please Don't Play the Piano All Night

[This is a cute little short story, and it won't be too long. I'll finish this one after I finish Black Box.]

Master Meng: Brother Qu, what brings you here so late at night?

Young Hero Qu: I want to learn to play the qin.

Young Hero Qu, who didn't know how to play any instruments, struggled for months. The legendary, peerless qin wouldn't make a sound and left his hands covered in cuts. With no musical talent, Young Hero Qu had no choice but to give up on this quest and head to Chunyi Pavilion in search of another instrument that would be easier to learn.

To his surprise, Master Meng grabbed him: You're leaving?

Young Hero Qu: I've decided not to learn the qin anymore.

Master Meng gazed at him for a long time, then let him leave without saying a word.

It wasn't until the game's beta test ended that Qu Lianye learned that Master Meng Qinyin was the incarnation of the Qin Demon, and that his body was the qin itself. If the Qin Demon suffered heartbreak and turned dark, the birdsong-and-blossom-filled practice dungeon would become a terrifying survival game.

The good news was that Meng Qinyin hadn't completely turned dark yet. The bad news was that he had disappeared from the game.

After hanging up the phone, Qu Lianye looked at the miniature antique qin on his desk, which seemed strangely familiar, and asked uncertainly, "...Master Meng?"

[Important] Reader's guide:

1. Switch, strong x strong, one-on-one happy ending.

2. A short story started on a whim. It'll be as long as it turns out to be.

Theme: The protagonist changes the tragic fate of the game's boss all by himself.
