Synopsis:
A goofy chef bottom (Richel) & an octopus top who just wants to live off his partner (Adrian)
Chef Li Xie wakes up in a medieval Western fantasy world, where he becomes Richel, an "ordinary human." He discovers that life here is painfully dull: people do nothing but hunt for treasure or fight monsters.
Food is the most important thing to people. How can you have the strength to fight or fall in love if you don't eat properly?
All you know how to do is smoke, pickle, stew, and roast? How about stir-frying, pan-frying, deep-frying, braising, simmering, scalding, and steaming?
Only nobles can afford sugar and honey? Wouldn't maltose made from corn and barley be just as good?
Commoners can't afford pork and beef? Are shrimp dumplings, fish soup, lamb hot pot, and crab roe tofu casserole no match for roasted meat? Is a vegetarian banquet that looks just like the real thing no match for steak?
Ready to return to his old profession and work hard, Richel stands with a beggar's bowl in hand, gazing up at a ruined house with no walls at a forty-five-degree angle, tears of poverty streaming down his face.
Later, the first Chinese restaurant on the continent draws countless races to its doors. After the first hot pot competition, many people interview the champion, Adrian, and ask him the secret to his victory.
The pirate captain grins confidently as he crosses his legs and picks his teeth. "Fishing hot pot ingredients out of the pot is just like hunting for treasure. When you've got eight legs, you've still got two left to coax your wife."
Richel tosses the two tentacles sliding down Adrian's back into the pot and presses down with the spatula. Who wants grilled octopus?
Note:
99% of the ingredients and recipes are sourced online, and 1% comes from Mouse wreaking havoc in the kitchen.
The food resources are based in part on the Western Middle Ages (Baidu, Zhihu, and a certain video site), but the setting follows the story, so please don't take it too seriously.

Completed: Has the CEO Behaved Himself Today?
Su Xici is transported into an old-fashioned domineering CEO novel, where he becomes the butler to the male lead, Nangong Ran.
Nangong Ran is worth trillions, has a sculpted face and a towering physique, lost both his parents, suffered childhood trauma, is wickedly arrogant and narcissistic, and has a sweetheart abroad as well as an uncle eyeing his fortune. He's got every vice in the book.
Su Xici: At least I barely appear in the story.
As a half-invisible supporting character, when the CEO is around, he serves tea and water to the leads and tidies their rooms. When the CEO is away, he consoles the female lead and helps the couple resolve their misunderstandings. He appears for less than thirty minutes in the entire novel.
But in real life, this CEO is an overgrown child and a pain in the neck, constantly testing the limits of Su Xici's patience.
Nangong Ran takes off his clothes from the bedroom door all the way to the bathroom. Unable to stand the mess, Su Xici picks them up one by one.
"You know it. You love the way I smell."
Su Xici hands him the schedule he worked so hard to put together.
"Cancel everything. Contact my private jet and book the presidential suite at the Manliston Hotel. You're coming with me to Europe to unwind."
Su Xici tries to say something.
"At my rate of 200,000 a second, I don't mind chatting with you for eighteen million."
Su Xici has had enough.
Nangong Ran lifts his chin, wearing three parts mockery, three parts cold indifference, and four parts nonchalance. His voice low and husky, he says, "Susu, you're playing with fire."
Su Xici takes off his glasses and rubs the bridge of his nose. Can this lunatic be convinced to get help?
"Don't be difficult. Be good and have a bath. Wait for me in bed before I get home."
Su Xici: ...
Wait, why has the plot changed?
Where's the female lead?
+++++++++
Su Xici bears his suffering with stoic grace and impeccable manners, always handling everything perfectly. He is so restrained and proper that he borders on old-fashioned. His clothes are always buttoned to the very top, and he maintains an absolutely safe distance from everyone.
A rakish young heir to a financial empire wants to use him to obtain information. He looks down on Su Xici, then loses his heart to him.
A chilly, jade-like film star despises him for standing in the way of his romance, but eventually falls at his feet.
Su Xici couldn't care less about this world, until one day an arrogant, overbearing, insufferable man declares, "Everything good in the world should belong to me, including you."
"Why?" He belongs to no one.
"Because you're the best thing in the world."
If you doubt it, I'll tell you ten thousand times.
Just remember to love this world once in a while.

Reading this article makes my blood pressure soar. Is the male protagonist mentally retarded?
Hey, it's fattened and ready to be slaughtered.
The emotional drama is really good, neither boring nor embarrassing. Many career-oriented emotional dramas written by many authors are very awkward.
Such a good article, no one is unscientific
I'm so confused by what I've seen
Moldy???!!! Hahahahahahaha
There are so few comments, so I'll contribute one. I've finished reading it all, I like it very much, it's beautiful!
Wow! Finished reading at half past two! Finished with scattered flowers, great! Great!
Woohoo, it's so hard to find articles like Western Fantasy Food, and the emotions are not bad. I'm really happy. Is it almost finished? (?д?;?)
Another car ran over my face
