Blurb:
A masked, stray-cat-type bottom x a dumb, blunt, narcissistic, dog-type top
Su Xici transmigrated into an old-school CEO romance novel and became the housekeeper to the domineering male lead, Nangong Ran.
Nangong Ran was worth trillions, with a sculpted face and a towering physique. His parents were dead, his childhood was traumatic, and he was devilishly charming, arrogant, narcissistic, and amorous. He had a first love who'd gone abroad and an uncle coveting his fortune. He had every flaw in the book.
Su Xici: At least I don't have many scenes.
As a semi-invisible tool character in the novel, when the CEO was around, he served tea to the leads and tidied their rooms. When the CEO was away, he comforted the heroine, talked her through her troubles, and helped the couple clear up their misunderstandings. He appeared in the whole novel for less than thirty minutes.
But in real life, this CEO was an overgrown child and a pain in the neck, constantly testing the limits of his patience.
Nangong Ran took off his clothes from his bedroom door all the way to the bathroom. Unable to stand the mess, Su Xici picked them up one by one.
"I knew it. You like the way I smell."
Su Xici handed him the schedule he'd worked so hard to arrange.
"Cancel everything. Contact my private jet and book the presidential suite at the Manliston Hotel. You're coming to Europe with me to unwind."
Su Xici had something to say.
"At my rate of 200,000 yuan a second, I don't mind having an eighteen-million-yuan conversation with you."
Su Xici had had enough.
Nangong Ran lifted his chin with a smirk that was thirty percent mocking, thirty percent cold, and forty percent indifferent, his voice low and husky. "You say no, but your body says otherwise."
Su Xici took off his glasses and rubbed the bridge of his nose. Can this lunatic just give up on treatment?
"Don't fuss. Be good. By the time I get home, be clean and waiting for me in bed."
Su Xici: ...
Wait, why is the story not going according to the script?
Where's the sweet, innocent heroine?
A certain breakout superstar pushed up her sunglasses.
And what happened to the wicked villainess?
A certain international doctor took the hand of her loyal puppy.
The heroine and villainess: We have no use for this narcissistic CEO.
+++++++
Su Xici was unfailingly composed, carrying a deep reserve of patience and an elegant sense of propriety. He could handle anything perfectly, was so restrained and proper as to be almost old-fashioned, always buttoned his clothes to the very top, and kept a safe distance from everyone.
He looked down on this world, until one day, an arrogant, overbearing, thoroughly irritating man declared, "Everything good in the world should belong to me, including you."
"Why?" He belonged to no one.
"Because you're the best thing in the world."
If you doubt that, I'll tell you ten thousand times.
Just remember to love this world once in a while.
P.S.:
1. The novel he transmigrates into is a genuine old-school romance. The characters' values don't represent the author's.
2. One is an idiot, the other is a lunatic. Neither is perfect.
3. They only have each other. One-on-one, both are virgins, happy ending.
4. The top's perspective is more prominent in the early chapters.
5. This is a story about redemption, so expect both sweetness and angst.

Blurb:
Bai Xiqiao was reborn.
When he died in his previous life, he learned that he was a minor villain in a CEO romance novel, one who was killed off early.
He had lived a pampered, willful life, and only after his death did he slowly learn from the book that everyone hated him.
He didn't think he'd ever hurt anyone, but when he died, they all celebrated.
How could he give them what they wanted?
If he was destined to be a villain, then he'd be a proper one. If he couldn't have a good life, neither would they!
He tried to frame his stepmother, who had spoiled him while raising him, but her trusted subordinate caught him and pinned him down, leaving him trembling.
He deliberately pushed the hypocritical older brother his stepmother had brought home into the water and stole his things, only to have the man use it as leverage and bully him in a corner until he didn't dare make a sound.
He sabotaged the company of his two-timing fiance, Mu Xichu, but President Mu caught him in the act, pinned him to the bed, and frightened him until he was sobbing.
He picked fights everywhere and refused to mend his ways, but his clueless brain kept getting him into trouble, and people bullied him without him being able to fight back.
So what if he was wicked? Why should wicked people have no way to survive?
Knowing he was too weak to manage alone, he decided to find an ally: Chi Yi, the ultimate villain who made it to the very end of the novel.
When Chi Yi first met Bai Xiqiao, he thought the man lived up to his name: fair-skinned, beautiful, and even more empty-headed. You'd need a decade of blood clots in your brain to say something that fantastical.
The second time Chi Yi saw Bai Xiqiao, the man had failed to harm someone and fallen into a trap himself. Chi Yi casually said a few words in his defense, never expecting the idiot to latch onto him from then on.
Chi Yi put him to use, growing his own influence while bringing a little human warmth and kindness into his lonely heart.
He never expected the little fool to have a change of heart.
Bai Xiqiao: It was a misunderstanding, all of it. This isn't the world I used to live in, and I took revenge on the wrong people. Is it too late to escape the Demon King now?
Chi Yi gently closed the door: What do you think?
Theme: Face hardship and setbacks bravely, and believe that someone is waiting for you up ahead once the storm has passed
I'm afraid this dog is not a sure bet.
