When in Doubt, Save First

Important notice: I asked my editor, and the female lead has no romantic pairing in the main story, but her account♂ does. There will be a self-romance pairing in the extras, and the romance plot has already begun. If you can't accept that, hurry and leave while you still can.

There will also be some romance and danmei secondary couples in the extras. The main story focuses on friendship and family.

Blurb:

Yu Nie forgot to save her game, and all the progress she had worked so hard on in a dungeon was wiped out in one fell swoop. Furious, she started saving every step of the way.

Those painful memories are now just that, memories. Once she reached max level, she got cocky.

But before she knew it, the game seemed to have changed.

Was this really a game?

The look in her favorite NPC's eyes as they died, starting over again and again, all the joys and sorrows he experienced...

Whether or not it was real,

she could no longer treat this as just a game.

Warnings: This story involves cosmic horror. The female lead stops being human later on, and she plays a cross-gender account. Please don't conflate the account's actions with the player. Just because the account has a partner doesn't mean she does. But I'm single, so my daughter has to be single too.

No unsolicited advice. Polite suggestions are welcome. Don't bring unrelated fandom talk into my comments, and don't mention me in other people's comment sections. If anyone dares to insult me, I'll insult them right back.

Theme: Good people get what they deserve.
