Screaming Coral

During the years Bo Ye pretended to be the big shot's beloved first love, staying by his side and behaving shamelessly, she probably never imagined that after making her escape, the man she'd wronged would one day catch her himself.

Years later, a kind stranger splashes wine in the face of the shameless liar whose mask has finally been shattered. She merely nods, unperturbed, and says, "I did lie to Xi Ran."

Amid the noisy crowd, the host of the party looks only at her. He still has the clear, gentle air he had as a boy, but his pupils are pitch-black.

"So why didn't you keep lying?"

During those years far from home, a friend once asked her curiously, "Doesn't your conscience ever hurt?"

Bo Ye: "Of course not. Getting promoted and a raise is how I use money to soothe the pain of heartbreak. Going clubbing with pretty boys is how I use alcohol to heal my festering wounds. Buying designer shoes and bags is how I fill the emptiness inside with luxury goods."

Bo Ye: "Tell me, how could there be an ex-girlfriend as devoted and perfect as me?"

According to gossipmongers, Xi Ran only gave a cold laugh in response.

In the deepest abyss beneath the sea, he yearns for neither a beloved first love nor salvation. The only thing he has fallen for is a hypocritical coral that screams.

A deranged, twisted tech tycoon x a two-faced, wicked-hearted con artist

1. The female lead is a genuine scammer impersonating someone else, but the male lead is genuinely deranged too.

2. The female supporting character isn't interested in men.

3. Clichéd, angsty melodrama, served by the basinful.
