Newly Ascended God, No More Disasters [Western Fantasy]

Please add my new upcoming novel, A Branch Offered to Spring, to your favorites! Kisses. The blurb is below.

Erika is a newly ascended sea goddess.

She is beautiful and powerful, adored by countless creatures.

*

The only slight imperfection is that half of Erika's blood is from the merfolk.

Fish have a seven-second memory, and she is a little better than a fish: seven days.

Even so, she is resilient despite her disability, true to her original aspirations, and brave enough to tempt fate.

*

To prevent accidents, Erika uses a magical artifact that can make calls to record all her past experiences, one by one.

When the next seven days arrive, she casts all those memories aside.

*

Erika swishes her dazzling tail, soaking up the sunshine on the golden beach, and takes a sip of juice.

Beside her is the magical artifact that can make calls.

*

Erika takes a look.

It says:

Number One: Can play the piano.

Number Two: Good at cooking.

Number Three: Rich, and can get you anything you want.

*

Erika's eyes light up. She calls out to Numbers One, Two, and Three all at once: "Come on, come on!"

...Ten seconds later

*

Three men glare darkly at Erika, each pointing at the other. "All right, what's going on? I thought you said I was your one and only!"

Erika sniffles: She, Erika, has been caught cheating!

Blurb for the upcoming novel:

Susu died on a cold winter's day, in a little house that was cut off from the world and shrouded in darkness.

She also died because of Shen Changcen's cold-heartedness.

Susu hated herself for being so naive. When she opened her eyes, she discovered that she had gone back ten years.

She had just come of age. Shen Changcen, dressed in coarse clothes, had appeared at her home for the first time. Still young and awkward, he cupped his hands in greeting and said, "I'll be in your care from now on, miss."

Of course she would.

Susu thought this might be Heaven's chance for her to avenge her past self. She had lived ten years longer than Shen Changcen, so she had plenty of ways and means at her disposal.

Just as Susu was coming up with all sorts of nasty schemes, Shen Changcen, the man who would kill her ten years later, returned as well.

Susu's scalp tingled. She racked her brains for a way to avoid him, afraid the two Shen Changcens would team up against her. Then she realized she didn't need to go to all that trouble.

Were her two ex-husbands fighting over her?

Theme: Pursue freedom and strive to claim the life you want for yourself.
