Synopsis

Blurb:

Xiang Fei was ordered to travel to the mysterious Sea of Dusk and find the treasure that could grant an emperor eternal life.

There, he encountered a mermaid from legend.

Chi Yu's cool, long hair fell over his shoulders as he embraced Xiang Fei. His tail, more dazzling than the most brilliant gemstone, pressed close to the young man's waist, sending waves of icy chill through him. Chi Yu whispered in his ear, "Come find me tonight. If you don't, you know what will happen."

Xiang Fei clenched his fists, his Adam's apple bobbing as he restrained himself.

Later

Chi Yu had been gone for only a few days. When he slipped into Xiang Fei's room one night, he had barely opened his mouth before Xiang Fei hooked a hand around his belt. "Why haven't you let me come see you these past few days? Have you fallen for another fish?"

The mermaid: ...

Mermaids can live for thousands of years. When Chi Yu awoke in the deep sea, schools of fish scattered, and no creature dared come within a foot of him.

Late one night, he overheard a group of humans planning to search for a treasure that granted eternal life.

He watched the officer leading them. His uniform was buttoned up to his slender neck, and the dim yellow light revealed the handsome lower half of his face. The shadow cast by his military cap could not conceal the keen glint in his eyes.

Chi Yu narrowed his eyes slightly. This should be fun.

Watch him, tempt him, and abandon him once he grew tiresome.

But Chi Yu only made it through the first two steps.

Sigh. You never know what life as a fish will bring.

◆ Please note: The mermaid is the pursuer, the mermaid is the top and the officer is the bottom. They dote on each other. No angst, just sweetness.

Theme: Face difficulties head-on and press forward without fear.

For Personal Use: Fantasy Danmei

A collection of all the books I've read, qwq, including sci-fi, interstellar, Sentinel and Guide, Western fantasy, non-humans, and more.

Mostly Top MCs, All Dear to My Heart

Some quick transmigration, a bit of everything, but mostly BL. These are novels I was recommended, finished, absolutely loved, and still wish I could read more of.

Recommendations for Stories with a Dominant Male Lead (Ongoing Updates)

I have a soft spot for beautiful, feminine-looking gong characters and strong shou characters, especially couples who are evenly matched and stories with a good plot. I'll point out a few exceptions, as well as potential dealbreakers.

For My Own Use: Dual-Cleanse Only (Top or Bottom), Recs and Avoids

Both leads are pure in body and heart; both are strong; they dote on each other, or the top dotes more. Their family fortunes are firmly secured, and I prefer the romance to be the main plot. Beautiful top 1, handsome bottom 0; I love a cool, in-control top paired with a cool bottom. Hard pass on everyone-falls-for-one, switch couples, and bratty attention-seekers.

A Record of the No-CP and BL Novels I’ve Read

Mostly danmei, often with the protagonist as the top. I prefer strong couples and powerful, swoon-worthy tops. Not many dealbreakers, and my tastes are varied. I don’t read child-rearing, campus, or airheaded beauty stories, especially airheaded beauties in infinite-flow stories.

A Record of the Male-Protagonist Novels I've Read

Gong-focused, mutually doting (maybe? Not sure). How much I stan either lead mostly depends on their characterization. I like gentle S gongs and gongs who take charge.

All are seme protagonists, with mutual pampering or a slight seme lean. Both sides are very clearly in love, and they love each other so much!!!!!

BL Stories With Top Leads That I Love (Updated Regularly)

These are basically stories I read and enjoyed, saved to revisit later. I like seme-focused stories and mutual pampering. My priorities are: story > characterisation = prose.
