The Young Lady Teases Her Servant

Blurb

In Liangzhou City, the richest family is the Wen family, and Wen Liusu is the young lady whom the townsfolk call "rude and unreasonable" and "arrogant."

One day, the pristine young master of the Lu family publicly rejects her marriage proposal. In a fit of anger, she buys a wolf-blooded slave and takes him home.

At first, Wen Liusu is taken by his looks and eager to prove her charms as a woman. Later, a fortune-teller tells her that the slave can help ward off disaster, and that it would be best to keep him by her side.

After much deliberation, Wen Liusu decides to treat him a little better.

Before bed, she swings her legs, the bell around her ankle jingling merrily. "Little slave, in life you belong to me, Wen Liusu, and in death you'll be my ghost. Got that?"

He kneels obediently. At her words, he takes hold of her ankle, and his mismatched eyes quietly change color. "If Miss agrees to one thing, this servant is willing to give his life for you."

Wen Liusu: ...

Born with mismatched eyes, he carries the blood of an inferior clan. Compared to Wen Liusu, Wen Chengfei is a beast raised among livestock.

Ever since he could remember, no one had treated him like a person. She alone would say, "He's no beast. He's mine. Say it again and see what happens!"

To him, she is more holy than light. He wouldn't dare entertain the slightest improper thought about her. All he asks is to protect her quietly for the rest of his life.

In her presence, he always keeps his head bowed, until one day. She falls ill, freezing cold, and says to him, "You, put out the lamp and get into bed."

From then on, the wicked desire buried deep in his heart begins to take root, little by little.
