This Characterization Is All Wrong

Ling Jingxing dreamed of a little mermaid who grew legs and came ashore for his sake, enduring immense pain with every step.

Later, he met the little mermaid in person. She was delicate and kind, so Ling Jingxing reluctantly took on the responsibility of protecting her.

Ling Jingxing's subordinates were practically crying their eyes out. "Your Highness, open your eyes and look! Apart from her face, what about her has anything to do with being delicate? She tore apart the Zerg! She tore apart a mecha!"

After Chu Qing died fighting the zombies, she opened her eyes to find a strange person holding a bowl of oddly colored soup in front of her.

On instinct, Chu Qing beat the stranger half to death, then swallowed both the soup and the bowl.

Then she received a message from the System. She had transmigrated into the body of a mermaid princess, and her mission was to save the empire's little prince, Ling Jingxing. All she had to do was drink the witch's potion, and she could grow legs, come ashore, and fall into a sweet romance with the prince.

Chu Qing: …

At last, Chu Qing met the empire's little prince. Fair-skinned and beautiful, with an extraordinary bearing, he had an evil stepmother and an evil older brother. He was practically a poor little thing!

The setup seemed oddly familiar, but the moment she saw the little prince, she understood: romance didn't matter. What mattered was maintaining world peace. She was definitely going to be his protector!

Her subordinates under the sea: "Your Majesty, wake up! He's obviously a man-eating flower!"

Reader's guide: 1. A silly story with no regard for logic, and it won't be too long.

2. Both leads are powerful figures, but each sees the other through an 800-meter filter of fragility.
