The Void That Killed a Detective

Please support my new novel, I'm an NPC, and Today I'm Going to Be a Real Bad Guy! The blurb is below. Coming soon: A Normal Spider Happened to Be Passing By Blurb: My name is Nishikujo Kaoru, and I'm a Hollow. I died because I was unlucky. The only thing I couldn't let go of in this life was my poor boyfriend, who suddenly disappeared. He had no family or friends. If even I gave up on him, he'd be left to rot in the wilderness with no one to bury him. To bury him, I mean, to find him, I made a deal with the current boss of Hueco Mundo and returned to my hometown in my dreams: bustling Tokyo. One day, I happened to pass a cafe on the streets of Tokyo. Through its glass windows, polished so ridiculously bright, I saw my lover, who had vanished five years ago. He was impeccably dressed in uniform, his blond hair glittering, smiling gently at a lively high school girl. A smile and two cups of coffee don't prove anything. That same night, I saw a gorgeous beauty with blond hair and red lips clinging to his arm in a bar. The two of them looked cozy and flirtatious. So, how should I go about killing him without making us Hollows seem petty and small-minded? [Content warning] The Black Organization and Amuro bonus chapter includes behavior that doesn't align with proper values. Please don't conflate fiction with real life. If that bothers you, please don't buy it. Blurb for I'm an NPC, and Today I'm Going to Be a Real Bad Guy! My name is... I have many names. In this life, I'm Shimizu Ryo. Here's how it goes. I'm a professional NPC in a manga, specializing in playing dead people. My work covers a wide range. Sometimes I'm a victim surrounded by detectives as they deduce my cause of death. Sometimes I'm an unfortunate passerby shot by a stray bullet in a Mafia shootout. Sometimes I'm an ordinary office worker who gets mistaken for a mole and killed because I'm too dedicated to my job. In short, after all these years on the job, I've been drowned, hanged, crushed, poisoned, shot... There isn't a method of dying in this world I haven't tried. In this life, I was supposed to die on March 13. But just as the moment of my murder arrived, the will of the world suddenly froze for a moment. I hesitated, leaned toward a certain elementary school student, and whispered, "Tumble-dryer." My fate changed completely after that. I turned my life around, took charge, and became an NPC with dignity and a story of my own. A passerby with no connection to the main plot can be sacrificed at any moment. Join the good guys and become a good person, and you'll be weakened by the redemption arc. If you still don't get any screen time, you'll die anyway. The only way to survive is to become a genuine, undiluted bottle of liquor lying right in the middle of the main plot. To make it to the finale, today I'm going to be a real bad guy!
