The Strange Tales Research Society

Also known as: What Should I Do? My Senior Likes Me Too Much

Welcome to the great Paranormal Research Club, fresh-faced freshman.

The perk of joining? Extra credits, of course! Don't you want a perfect score in your second-class courses, a scholarship, and a triumphant college career?

So he joined.

Everyone in the club was a little strange, especially the senior who'd brought him in: the president of the Paranormal Research Club.

At first, he kept his distance from the senior.

The senior didn't seem to like him much. He looked him over appraisingly and said he was nothing but a lucky normie.

Gradually, his impression of the senior improved.

The senior might have been frivolous and lazy, but no matter what he said or did, this supposedly unreliable man would smile and agree with him.

Whenever he was in danger, the senior was always the first to show up.

Until...

"Senior, there really are ghosts in this world..."

"Of course there are. Why else would this club exist? Don't be scared. I'll protect you."

"Is that so? Haha, thanks, Senior. But could you please stop following me around?"

A senior who showed up beside him anytime, anywhere was scarier than a ghost.

But his senior was an idiot, which somehow made him a little less scary.

.

He used a forbidden ability to glimpse the future, but all he learned was that his future self had left instructions to protect someone. If he didn't, he would regret it forever.

He scoffed. He wanted to see what kind of person this was.

Just an ordinary normie.

No spiritual power, always smiling, and so timid he wanted to quit the club after seeing a ghost. What was so special about him?

How could he make him feel both lovesick and protective?
