Raising Children at a Daycare After Time-Traveling to the 1960s

After recovering memories of her past life at the age of twenty-five, Lu Tinglan discovers that she is a supporting character in a period novel. She works at the cotton mill's nursery, looking after children every day. People praise her, and she is even named an Outstanding Employee.

But in the original story, Lu Tinglan also has several children living in the countryside. Her aunt arranges for them to come by bus to the cotton mill nursery to find her. "You figure it out. They're all your children."

Lu Tinglan looks at the three sweet, well-behaved children. They're a little thin, and their eyes are full of a pitiful look as each one takes hold of her sleeve. "Mama, don't leave us."

Lu Tinglan: So where is their father?

Her aunt tells Lu Tinglan to take the children to the construction corps and find her husband. With no choice in the matter, Lu Tinglan goes, only to be assigned to look after children at the nursery there as well.

As for the children's father, he's on his way back.

Lu Tinglan, the wife of Lu Zhouling, thinks he lives too simply and doesn't talk much, so she has always lived separately from him. Then one day, Lu Tinglan arrives with three children and says she's here to settle down and live with him.

At first, Lu Zhouling waits for the moment when Lu Tinglan can't keep up the act anymore, so he can send her back to her hometown.

Later, when Lu Tinglan becomes pregnant, Lu Zhouling can't bear to let her leave. She takes such good care of the children, too. With three meals a day and the comfort of ordinary life, he can never get enough.
