His Scent Is Bone-Deep

Cheng family's seventh young master of the capital, frail and boneless, always carries a white handkerchief.

They say he won't live past twenty-nine.

But who has seen how icy and sinister those eyes, usually clouded with a listless, damp haze, become when he is on a mission?

He Sui, who is extremely sensitive to the smell of blood, clung to him like a burr as soon as she caught the bloody scent on him.

She loved the smell of blood on him, as well as the faint scent of orchids.

After relentlessly pestering him and wearing him down, she made him fall under her spell.

Then a man appeared and changed everything.

He was the man who had personally pulled He Sui out of one abyss, only to push her into another.

"Since she doesn't remember anything, how about we have a fair competition?"

"You spent eight years and still couldn't make her fall in love with you, "

"Not necessarily. A year ago, she didn't choose you either, did she? What makes you think you're still special to her now?"

The two men came to an agreement: a fair competition, decided by drawing lots.

He Sui noticed that a black Volvo had been following her lately.

And on the very night she posted a notice in her apartment complex looking for a roommate, a man knocked on her door.

"Hello. Are you looking for a tenant?"

The next day, He Sui discovered that a new neighbor had moved in next door, too.

The two men stood on the terrace and exchanged greetings, looking perfectly relaxed.

"Hello, Neighbor Cheng."

Cheng He: "..." Yeah, right. If he hadn't drawn the shortest lot, he would be He Sui's live-in bestie.
