Raising Venomous Insects

Qi Xiaoqi loves peace and respects justice and the law. That is, until a diary drags her into a sealed-off mansion.

Seven others are in the same predicament.

[The game begins.]

[Only one person can leave the mansion.]

[Have fun, everyone.]

They decide to sit down together and discuss their circumstances.

Among them are a sane mental patient, a lovestruck murderer, a wealthy robber, an honest con artist, a blind doctor, a chatterbox who can't speak, and a dancer with a broken leg.

Then it's Qi Xiaoqi's turn.

She puffs out her chest, lifts her chin, and declares firmly:

"I'm poor."

"My dream is to own a big mansion."

"Whether or not you leave, I'm staying."

In the end, Qi Xiaoqi leans against the doorway and waves to the winner.

The winner hurries away.

Three days later, the winner dies suddenly. No one survives this game.

A smile curls on Qi Xiaoqi's lips in the darkness.

You think you won?

A mystery novel that tries very hard to be serious (sort of).

Theme: Justice will prevail.
