Dating a Robot

I

Qian Xiaoqian went out with a cat to scavenge for junk.

She turned around and locked eyes with a robot whose head was mostly smashed in.

In response to Qian Xiaoqian's deadpan stare, he smiled gently. "You... today... I... want..."

Then his eyes closed, and he ran out of power completely.

Qian Xiaoqian: ?

Could you at least finish what you were saying?

She dragged the little wreck home, clanked and banged away until he was all fixed up, and planned to raise him as her son.

But as she raised him... things went off track.

Qian Xiaoqian was pinned against the mechanical wall of her workshop and kissed passionately. The robot didn't understand how to breathe, only that he had to keep their lips pressed tightly together, giving her no chance to catch her breath.

Furious, Qian Xiaoqian pressed a finger to him and shut him down.

When he woke up again, Qian Xiaoqian was sitting on his lap, tilting her head up to peck gently at his lips.

Her catlike eyes held a teasing smile.

"Learn properly."
